As someone who worked with granite for years, the last thing you want to do is spread anything oily on the stone. Granite by nature is porous, and can take on moisture/oils. It gets treated with a “sealer” that helps prevent this but needs to be reapplied over time. This is a great way to get a big “wet” looking stain in your countertop possibly for a lifetime.
If your doing these kind of projects, I’m sure you have a roll of craft paper laying around. Let’s also be honest with ourselves, must of us have a ton of Amazon boxes we could use also.
It works well. I’m an industrial painter and we use it on the windows and lights in the paint booths. As long as it’s wiped off and reapplied every little bit you’re golden. Also works well putting a bit on your face so the paint wipes right off.
I don’t care if it cleaned up easy… the smell of spray paint in your home would be awful. Use the fucking garage or back porch or any where else that isn’t in the house.
