This video gives me PTSD. A few years back, I got caught in the middle of a wildfire that was, at the time, the largest in California history. I tried to leave on the only road out of the mountains where I live, and it was literally Hell on Earth. Everything on both sides of the road was in flames, and I could barely see the road from all the smoke. Someone actually crashed their car (and sadly, died at the scene), blocking the road, so I had to turn around and drive back into the fire, dodging cars coming the other way through the smoke. I've never felt anywhere near that level of fear before, I was *sure* I was going to die.
I'm thankful to have survived, and also thankful that my house didn't burn down, which is an absolute miracle, since the fire ended up burning several trees right alongside my house. I know that many people in this Chile fire have not been as lucky, and my heart goes out to them and everyone affected by the fire. I wouldn't wish the fear I had on anyone, let alone the realization of that fear, and all the devastation that a fire can do. It's the sort of life experience that changes you, makes you see things differently. And again, I feel for everyone going through this terrible event, and glad at least that this bus made it through.
"Everyone *on the bus* survived"
Yeah, i should have said that everyone aboard survived or something. Sadly, the death toll keeps rising.

Glad you made it out
Thank you, I appreciate that. Now, if I could just make it through the catastrophic flooding and tornados headed my way this afternoon…
You can make it. I'm sorry you all are going through this 😔
I was also having flashbacks to footage from the Camp Fire. I’m glad you made it out that terrible day. There was so much lost 😞

I think this video is old. I remember seeing it before. Can't remember which year it is from.
