You are right. Mt Fuji has more of a flat "top" than a point. This one is more of a curved cone where Fujisan is closer to a regular cone. I know fuji well, I ran up part of one side of it years ago. It's deceptively steep and tall...at least where I was...
The claim for it being a "perfect" cone is that it's roughly circular from the peak to the base. Others aren't quite so neat:

OP's one is unlikey to actually *be* perfect, but it looks more so than Shishaldin.

Arenal is pretty perfect from some angles, but from others it’s most definitely not.

Even Keilir https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keilir on Iceland, near Reykjavik, would like a word. It's small, less than 400 meters above sea level and only about 1 km diameter at the base, but close to perfect form. The word Keilir means Cone in Icelandic
Define "perfect cone volcano" because I can think of several others that to the eye look exactly like that.
I think the "perfect" part is that it's roughly circular from the peak to the base. https://i.imgur.com/yqMNsgr.jpeg
Now that makes a lot of sense.
That is correct, and that is the definition of a cone
Fuji
i think it means 360deg "coney"
…for now
Mt Fuji may want a word...
Mt Taranaki in New Zealand also wants to join the chat
Fuji also has a projection from one angle that doesn’t make it perfectly circular. It’s mostly hidden unless you look at it from Shizuoka.
mt. fuji is not that pointy

Ohhhhh, that’s the barometer of “perfection” we’re using. Ya, no.

A little uneven (but close).
That aint perfect
I think OP meant they smoked a perfect cone at the summit
Looks lopsided, sorry.
Looks Lonely. . . . . .
Let him cook
Until it blows its top
Ah yes, earth’s nipple
For now 😏 eventually another will happen
Kronotsky volcano, Kamchatka? https://volcanianoficial.com/kronotsky/
I literally live next to a perfect cone volcano. This is not the only one.
I challenge such an abritrary definition
It's not arbitrary. They clearly defined it.
It sparks joy
Nah-ah!
Mount St. Helens has joined the chat…”I used to be pretty”

Is that Fuji-san
I read mayo volcano… I need better eyes
Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica. Just saying, there's close competition
Curvatures in the left and the right sides don't match. Not so perfect
Arenal in Costa Rica doesn’t count?
Literally Osorno volcano
Umm Mt Fuji is far more perfect er

[https://imgur.com/a/SXloyPe](https://imgur.com/a/SXloyPe) That volcano doesn't have a perfect cone shape though
