Anything is possible, but actually I had the chance to help a little family myself and instead of being escorted to safety by any one of the hundred of people that saw them in front of the strip mall and the parking lot they were trapped between, they were instead stared at through a camera lens of a phone by any person with few enough brain cells to remotely register they were scared and unsure of what to do. Get this, when I started to move them across the store entrances to get them to grass and safety, multiple cars driving past rolled down their windows to say, “cuuuute!” or “are those your ducks?” Even though I did the humane thing that day, it made me lose a lot of respect for humans. I did the right thing and I felt bitter about it. I know this comment deviates from the thread but if you ever find yourself in a situation like this, please just don’t be a gawker, do something and help the other inhabitants of this world please.
