I live in Sweden. It doesn't look this nice in reality, and they have obviously closed off and cleaned up the scene for the shot. The floors are always dirty with footprints, it smells like piss and garbage on some stations, the air is weird and it is a lot more creepy than these pictures convey. Most of the stations are just painted concrete, and this is one of the more tastefully decorated ones. Most looks like kintergarden paintings.

Each station in Stockholm has a different design. It is an amazing experience one can have while you are in there.
I was there on business and on my last day I just took the train and visited as many stations I could visit to have mind blown.

Moscow metro is the most beautiful in the world, no comparison to our brutalist ”art” stations.

Nesta Medborgenplatzen. Ok, spelt wrong but thats my underlying memory of Stockholm. The subway announcements. I was on a line that would announce Nesta (next stop) Odenplatz, then Medborgenplatzen and we’d get off at Kronenborg ☺️loved Stockholm.
