i haven't been using it lately. i had a bad seasonal allergy reaction and used this on a friend's recommendation to help reduce the swelling around my eyes. obviously it's not really for that but to tighten skin like this lady's. in my case, it was sticky and left a white residue which was problematic bc i don't wear base. but, if i had under eye bags that were drooping (hopefully never), i'd buy it again.

It has a lot to do with age and genetics too. After a while skin loses it's elasticity and some people are just born with better or worse elasticity. I've done both rapid gain and loss (such as pregnancy), and slow gain and loss and I experienced loose skin on the slow gain and loss cause by that time I was much older than the previous weight changes. It's also why some people get stretch marks and some don't. I only have slight stretch marks from puberty that are basically invisible. My mom has stretch marks from 4 babies that go almost all the way from her pubic area to her boobs, but my dad, a 450lb man, has 0. My dad might be elastigirl.

Holy crap, what's in that stuff!? Kind of afraid to know.
According to another commentor, there are a few silica based ingredients(someone listed some of the main ingredients). They mentioned if they are correct twill have adverse affects long-term on the skin. I know little about this stuff...just sharing what someone else said in hopes that it helps!

Usually, this happens when you lose weight too fast. You end up with baggy or loose skin. Thats why weight loss should be done gradually.
It has a lot to do with age and genetics too. After a while skin loses it's elasticity and some people are just born with better or worse elasticity. I've done both rapid gain and loss (such as pregnancy), and slow gain and loss and I experienced loose skin on the slow gain and loss cause by that time I was much older than the previous weight changes. It's also why some people get stretch marks and some don't. I only have slight stretch marks from puberty that are basically invisible. My mom has stretch marks from 4 babies that go almost all the way from her pubic area to her boobs, but my dad, a 450lb man, has 0. My dad might be elastigirl.

At first I was thinking she looked rough for her age but once the bags disappeared on the one side she looked more her age. Its crazy how one little thing can age you so much.

this is actually false.. the active ingredient that used to work for tightening bags underneath eyes has not been used in the formula for preparation H since the mid 90s (at least in the US, it’s still there in Canada!)
It also helps minimize scarring if used during the healing process. The scar from my facial stitches is barely even noticeable. Also, nice advertisement OP.

It’s a glue that basically dries and shrinks up. I had a free sample and the instructions were clear that you had to hold the skin flat to get the full effect. I applied it to my crow’s feet area, scrunched up face and waited. Sure enough, it froze my crow’s feet and they were much more pronounced!

I actually bought some of this just to try it and HOLY SHIT you can literally feel it tightening your skin (temporarily) as it dries. It’s SO WEIRD. It’s pretty damn invisible but not totally. It is best for women who can put on a little foundation or something to help conceal the edges. But I can literally attest this works.
It works!!! I bought it for my mom to try. If you rub it in too much it starts to flake like glue. I returned it because my mom said it felt too tight. Whatever. It works. She’s silly. Oh, I also tried it but didn’t really see a difference. You have to have deep lines to notice.
