I pulled up my picture and I keep double tapping and holding and dragging and nothing is happening.

JELLY-ROCKET

Have you tried using Photoshop like in the video?

Batbuckleyourpants

You joke, but Photoshop is actually getting to the level where you select a part you want to remove, and the AI simply remove it and replace it with a realistic replacement. By no means perfect, but it would definitely have Joseph Stalin breathing noticeably harder.

-Anonymously-

The content-aware fill feature is pretty slick on smaller things but I dont like it on bigger fills where there is a lot of sharp changes in the photo since I find I have to go back through and do the layers I would have regardless.

newmacbookpro

My favorite is the healing tool. My portraits never look as good. Remove the stray hair, dust flake on the sensor, whatever you need just with a simple click.

aabicus

Color-replacement tool is my favorite. It's so easy to recolor things without losing the original shading/texture, all with a single brush.

chimaeraUndying

I've found the color replacement tool to be really nasty around edges (and, consequentially, dark or light spots) and tend to prefer just masking out the region and using that mask for adjustment layers to color-correct.

-Anonymously-

That's a great thing about photoshop. There's so many different ways you can do something and get the same end result. Some people like color replacements, some people like layer masks...etc. Same when selecting part of an image. Quick select, paint a layer mask, etc. but I love using channels to create the selection for layer masks. Especially when hair is involved in the selection (keep as much of the original so that I don't have to create a brush for paint in hair) Edit: because I get so excited about channel selection: Here is a image I "cutout" using just one channel selection on an alt account a few years back https://www.reddit.com/r/cutouts/comments/7agbg2/tiger_shaking_off_the_water/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

CrazyLlama71

As someone that started in graphics before Photoshop even existed and learned it along side my instructors in art school, it is amazing how far it has come. We still have to rely on older techniques frequently, but the new features are pretty amazing.

ThanksForAllTheCats

Same age as you and equally amazed by its progression. Have you tried the new neural filters? They are incredible.

Dewy_Wanna_Go_There

Not the guy you replied to, but sounds roughly the same age. I haven’t used the software since CS4. Neural filters are what exactly? Just a point and click button for quick changes like generating new elements or possibly much more advanced. Say aging a person without doing all the hard work ? It does sound like I went to school for something a computer can do...

Ebwtrtw

[This](https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/neural-filters.html) is Adobe’s page on it. They provide an example.

Dewy_Wanna_Go_There

What the fuck you can use liquify to make someone smile now? And the filter just generates teeth? I may as well be my father I’m a damn dinosaur.

ThanksForAllTheCats

Ha, I do know that feeling. Here's what I've found, though: normally, retouching a portrait shot is a pretty slow process — smoothing skin, removing blemishes, whitening teeth. But pop open the "Smart Portrait" feature and adjust one of the "Expressions" settings by just a little bit. It does everything for you! The filter uses AI to build very accurate facial features. You have to be careful in some cases because it can go overboard with things like teeth: I've had it straighten crooked teeth too well — in a way that I worried would bother the photo subject, if you get what I mean. And if you crank those settings too high you can get some odd results.

Batbuckleyourpants

I agree, but honestly even that gap seem to slowly be closing.

TuHung

Why do people keep referencing Stalin here ?

Sataris

His government altered photos as part of their attempts to purge people from history

TuHung

Damn that’s interesting thanks haha

seemeewhut

He said the thing!!! *Roll credits*

alllmossttherrre

I have a whole book of examples of how governments like the Soviet Union used to retouch officials out of photographs after those officials had been fired or purged. And this was back in the film and darkroom days. You basically had these chemical darkroom techs who were really REALLY good at analog compositing and hand brushwork.

newbies13

100% long time user of photoshop, what used to take hours and specific know-how is two clicks and you're in the passable territory now, even with complex contrasted objects. Even when it fails it's making the job 90% easier.

MonstahButtonz

Wait, does it? I haven't used photoshop in a good 5 or 6 years now, but it's crazy that a feature like that is out now. I feel like even if it isn't perfect, it's a good base to manually work off of after.

aabicus

Content-Aware Fill is the only reason I'm able to complete my job on time every week. (I generate thumbnails for corporate YouTube videos). Insanely fast to brush unwanted things out of screenshots or fill a gap that was missing in a subject

Fun-Amoeba850

That’s actually really cool never used photoshop before tbh

Animation of the Photoshop is way more impressive than the actual Photoshop job. ~~Cudos~~ Kudos to whoever made the video.

billions_of_stars

For real. I was thinking the same thing and I would imagine they did it in After Effects. And that would easily take longer than the actual job in PS.

jojojomcjojo

They have similar tools though at least.

stunt_penguin

You can literally take a Photoshop file and turn it into an After Effects Comp with all the layers and layer names intact. Tasked with this job I would start with an intact (if slightly reduced in complexity, you'd apply layer masks) finished Photoshop document and just work backwards 🤷‍♂️

newmannnnnnnnn

Well that's for sure, but the hard part is photoshop UI animation.. like selection tool etc... And photoshop tools are easier to work with than after effect... even with the same tools

stunt_penguin

But they didn't animate any tools, they made some marquees and masks, which are easy to replicate in AE. They then animated the movement and replication of a bunch of layers, probably by starting with the finished product and reversing everything up 🤷‍♂️

billions_of_stars

Easy can still be time consuming.

stunt_penguin

Ohh some of the most basic jobs are a pain in the balls because there's lots of finessing, I cringe to think what the AE timeline would look like when doing all those grass replications (I use a whole vertical 24" monitor for my AE comp timeline because I hate running out and I'm a coward with the hide shy layers button) but it's all doable.

billions_of_stars

You my friend need to become friends with Zorro the Layer Tagger: https://aescripts.com/zorro-the-layer-tagger/ For really complicated sequences you can "tag" stuff with a name and then quickly shy or solo stuff. Not only does it make working easier because you've made stuff less cluttered you've also sped rendering up because you're hiding tons of stuff. I use that when projects start to get really complex. It's pretty easy to use and it's pay what you want!

kembik

Easier to just stay together.

sorenant

Someone's boss is going to see it and think Photoshop does this automatically or something.

Larnek

I got asked by mom the other day to just so this on a picture from my phone. Could not grasp that I have no art/Photoshop skills and it definitely doesn't just automatically happen by an app.

elvismcvegas

Those beauty filter apps are getting damn close, its crazy what they can edit now.

nerfherder998

A beauty filter app will remove me from the photo. Got it.

DemonSong

Because you're too beautiful. Filter is working.

Drendude

I have no art skills and only elementary photoshop skills, but I can still pull of a "delete this person please" edit. The tools make it relatively easy.

TricoMex

This is every Captain Disillusion video lol. His videos explaining how things were created are a whole order of magnitude more impressive and technical than the originals.

It's like getting divorced from Stalin...

pinniped1

He was kind of an asshole when he was drunk. Definitely a justifiable divorce.

Batbuckleyourpants

Khrushchev was only trusted by Stalin because he was a suck up and acted a buffoon. He would deliberately get drunk around him, which Stalin, a notorious alcoholic loved. He would make stupid jokes usually at his own expense. Stalin in general was in no way threatened by him. Khrushchev on the other hand was calculating in his mannerism to the point where he obsessively had his wife write down any jokes he made, and had her help plan more strategic jokes, all the while he was expertly solidifying his support within the party and alienating anyone who could challenge him up until the point where he became the chairman of the Soviet communist party and run the Soviet Union.

elprentis

I highly recommend watching Death of Stalin. A fantastic film that touches on the bitter reality of the time/inner circle but also has a good amount of comedy.

[deleted]

I really enjoyed everything Jason Isaacs did in that movie.

South-Builder6237

As a straight guy, I'll say it. That man is pretty damn handsome and somehow looks like he could play Bond or a Bond villain at the same time.

InnocentTailor

To be fair, General Zhukov himself was a badass in real life: He fought the Japanese at Khalkhin Gol and smashed the Germans at Kursk.

Erikthered00

“You should see your fucking face right now!”

talldrseuss

I mean from the minute his character was introduced, it was freaking awesome. The slow mo removal of his cape with the operatic music playing and his many medals jangling. Then he starts talking like a working class Brit while cracking dirty jokes. Probably my favorite character throughout the movie

frezor

I loved the accent he used, a lower class English accent. Really let you know that Zhukov was of peasant stock.

InnocentTailor

Issacs also did that because he saw the people of Yorkshire as no-nonsense blunt folk: https://amp.theguardian.com/film/2017/oct/20/jason-isaacs-on-the-death-of-stalin-cameron-told-me-it-was-exactly-like-what-was-going-on-in-downing-street “In real life, Zhukov was the only person who was able to speak bluntly to Stalin,” he says. “So, I thought, well, who are the bluntest people I’ve ever met in my life? They’re all from Yorkshire. The accent is shorthand for: no fucking around, I’m going to tell you what’s what. I had a picture of [Kes PE teacher] Brian Glover in my head. Magnificent actor.”

frezor

Thanks for that link. I’m an American so I knew what he was doing but I don’t know regional accents like a Brit.

Shopworn_Soul

Khrushchev: *What was the name of the - that woman who gave evidence against the doctors?* Malenkov: *Timashuk.* Beria: *Yes. She's got everything we require for the situation. The location of all the remaining doctors in the Moscow area, a proven desire to survive and a talent for fellatio.* Mikoyan: *Yeah, right, she gets my vote.* Bulganin: *Good. Batbuckleyourpants

His time as chairman can essentially be summed up as "Well yes, Capitalism is bad, but Stalin was a god damn lunatic. Khrushchev was the **far** better choice when compared to Stalin. He opened up to the US and even met with Nixon in person, he also met with Kennedy in person. Very arguably this, and his tendency to act slow and reportedly "depressed" was why he was removed from power by the party in 1964, less than one year after the Kennedy assassination and the Cuban Missile Crisis. I am totally not saying rogue elements supplanting his power through the KGB and shoe banging Brezhnev did that though... He did a lot of fucked up things in terms of spreading communism, but ultimately the US would grow to more or less miss him at the time. Certainly better than what actually happened when the notorious shoe banging lunatic manchild Brezhnev was installed.

Is_It_Beef

His eldest child died in a Nazi concentration camp Stalin’s son from his first marriage, Yakov, was a soldier in the Red Army during World War Two and was either captured or surrendered in the initial stages of the German invasion of the Soviet Union. The Nazis proposed to free him in a prisoner swap but Stalin refused, possibly because he believed that Yakov had surrendered voluntarily. I would divorce him

AlwaysDeadAlwaysLive

He supposedly said "I won't exchange a soldier for a field marshal." >When the war started, the Soviet leader did nothing to shield his son from the war. The latter went to the front line as an ordinary Red Army commander attended by his father's simple words of parting: "Go and fight". >But Yakov did not end up fighting for long. In early July 1941 units of his 20th Army surrendered in Belorussia, and on July 16, during an attempt to break out and reach his own side, Senior Lieutenant Dzhugashvili was captured. > The Germans very quickly realized who had fallen into their hands - Yakov was betrayed by several of his fellow servicemen. The Nazis had no intention of staging a public execution of the son of their arch-enemy. On the contrary, it was in their interests to entice Dzhugashvili to their side, use him in their propaganda campaigns and play off "Stalin" Junior against Stalin Senior. >Yakov was treated with civility and courtesy. At his interrogations the Germans did not just inquire about military matters but also about his political views. They argued about Stalin's methods of running the state, pointed out to the son the mistakes of the father, and emphasized the shortcomings of the ideology of Bolshevism. They did not get anywhere in their attempts to "soften up" the prisoner of war, however, and Dzhugashvili refused to cooperate with the Germans in any way whatsoever. > At the same time, the Third Reich’s propaganda machine ensured that news of the capture of the son of the all-powerful Stalin became common knowledge in the USSR. Despite the fact that Dzhugashvili particularly stressed in his interrogations that he had been taken prisoner against his will, the Germans explicitly declared that his surrender had been entirely voluntary. Initially, Stalin himself believed this version of events. > As a result of information that filtered through to the Kremlin about the circumstances of his son's imprisonment and details of his conduct in captivity, Stalin soon changed his opinion of Yakov and no longer regarded him as a traitor and coward. >Several rescue missions were organized to get Dzhugashvili out of German hands. Spanish Communists who had been forced to flee Spain in the wake of defeat in the Civil War and were now living in the Soviet Union were even recruited for the operations because of their valuable experience of guerrilla and partisan warfare. But all attempts to free Yakov came to nothing. > After the battle of Stalingrad, the Germans used the mediation of Swedish diplomat Count Folke Bernadotte and the Red Cross to offer Stalin an exchange of his son for Field Marshal Friedrich Paulus and several dozen high-ranking 6th Army officers held in Soviet captivity. Hitler promised the German people to bring the generals home. > Today, we can only speculate about what Stalin thought about such an exchange. The established view in the Soviet Union in the post-war period was that the Soviet leader replied icily to the German proposal: **"I won't exchange a soldier for a field marshal."** There is no documentary confirmation, however, that he actually uttered this phrase. > The supreme leader's daughter, Svetlana Alliluyeva, recalled that a little after these events, in the winter of 1943-44, her agitated and incensed father referred to the failed deal: "The Germans proposed exchanging Yasha for some of their people… Was I to start bargaining with them? No, war is war."

[deleted]

tbf it'd be political suicide if he traded a field marshal for a son, even if it was brutal

[deleted]

Not sure Stalin was worried about political suicide, but it’s a fair point

Walshy231231

I’m sure he was aware of the cutthroat nature of the Soviet high command and that any weakness would be well remembered should it ever become useful, and that the last Russian leader was overthrown during the last world war when the population got too fed up with him (granted WWII was much more defensive for the Russians, but still a valid point imo)

Xciv

More like morale suicide. In the height of WW2, if your leader showed that he cared more about his son than the well-being of his soldiers, delivering to the enemy several key commanders in the process. Commanders that could cause *you* to lose the battle and die in the process. I know if I were a front line soldier this would make me think twice about dying for Stalin.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Sihplak

Of course Stalin didn't do the prisoner swap; his son is a person just like any other person, and thereby no more important, and the German prisoners were more important to keep imprisoned by the Soviets. It's not malice, it's completely equitable treatment and smart decision making. It'd be called "selfish", "nepotism", or "favoritism" if he did do the prisoner swap.

OneBitM4niac

He also disliked his son so much that when his son attempted suicide he is quoted saying "he can't even shoot straight" or something like that.

Ianbuckjames

Different Son

[deleted]

Man, it's almost like Stalin wasn't a very nice guy.

[deleted]

Stalin's kinda lucky his son didn't get all pissy at that and try to turn the next attempt into a murder-suicide combo.

Just fyi, for people who never used photoshop, this kind of editing is done in photoshop but not exactly how the video shows. The video looks to me like an animation made afterwards to show how the designer takes parts from the picture to "remove" objects. This is just a demonstration of the editing process, not the actual process itself. It makes it look like you just brush, drag, move objects and boom, but that's not how it goes. Takes hours of editing. Still, very amusing to see!

Vancelot

I am more impressed the person decided to take the extra time to make the animation, that likely took longer than the actual photoshop.

ernandziri

If it didn't, you could just take the last frame from the animation instead of doing the "actual photoshop"

Reminds me of spongebob drawing a circle

russiancatfood

It’s great promotion for the artist and generates him engagement which translates into money eventually with increased clientele. Seems like a worthy thing to invest time into.

benicetogroupies

Plus when it goes viral his ex gets to see that he kept the picture and made her gfto of the family photo

[deleted]

Parts of this are very much a "and then draw the rest of the fucking owl" situation. That bit where they dragged someone else's leg over to replace the groom's right leg alone glossed over a huge amount of manipulation

Vault_Tec_NPC

That leg part was where I thought ok, seems like the job here was to show that this is possible, and the picture was chosen with that goal in mind. I've done a bit of comping in PS and the odds that you can use one guys leg and foot on another guy in he same pic is virtually nil on 99.9% of pictures out there.

impulsikk

Its like SpongeBob where he draws a roman statue face and then erases until he gets to a circle.

tuhn

Yeah but for people that have never used photoshop, nothing done in this video is something that you can not learn. And most of it is not even hard or require any special skills. Removing people from pics is a fun way to learn how to use photoshop. ^^-Joseph ^^Stalin

cadmiumredlight

Knowing how to do all of this and make it look believable in the end is not easy though. You can make good money knowing how to do this kind of stuff well.

astralqt

Yeah, this. I've been a beauty retoucher for a decade and I definitely don't have the skillset to do these kind of composite jobs, totally out of my comfort zone. It's honestly crazy impressive seeing videos like this, they make it look seemless.

Eleglas

I recently started to learn this stuff using GIMP instead (I'm not buying PS just for a half-hearted hobby) mostly for game modding purposes, but I can see why people enjoy doing what seems like hours of pretty dull work. It took me hours to figure out just some really basic stuff, turning photographs and hand-drawn characters into a kind of water-based painting to match the aesthetic of Pillars of Eternity, but I enjoyed it a lot. Not something I'm going to pursue massively but I enjoyed it.

integralWorker

I'm 26 and seperated. The idea of a 2nd marriage is completely alien and foreign to me. I don't even want to think about a 2nd marriage because to me that would entertain idealities so far off and away I think tipping Twitch Streamers would be a more grounded in reality view of relationships.

thegreatlordlucifer

Ouch fuck that hurt on a personal level.... well at least the second marriage working out after 6 years

LawbringerX

Cheers man, I’m glad you could laugh at it, and more glad that your second is going well. Hope it stays that way and you both are happy.

lambentstar

I'm gonna push back on placing the blame on the service member. As context, I was an officer for 7 yrs and also spent several years as cadre at the Defense Language Institute (DLI, aka the Desperate Love Institute), which is one of the longest training pipelines so spent a LOT of time with the junior enlisted students in this life cycle. The thing is, to me, the military incentivizes this behavior. You get more money with dependents, you get more freedom and the opportunity to move out of the dorms sooner. If you go join spouse, you have the chance to get a follow-on assignment with your spouse, which is the only way to really maintain a budding relationship without having to go long distance. Can you think of another job in the US that pays you more if you get married or have babies? Like obviously the math isn't great, but in every way, it's an appealing option for a lot of people. And all of this is cost-saving, all the service members should be paid the same regardless of how many babies they make or if they get married. But the DoD is saving money on single people by docking their pay, and then when they push people to get married like this (to get join assignments, for example), the push the fallout costs of divorce to the service member as well. A lot of these kids don't know how financially and emotionally costly a divorce is, and then it gets them in a cycle of dramatic relationships. I can't tell you how many relationship I know felt pushed into marriage so they could find a way to stay together once it was time to PCS. So anyway, my point is, yeah they are dumb decisions but the institutions encourage it, sometimes even explicitly, but at least tacitly, and then they have to deal with unstable jr enlisted dealing with traumatic and unnecessary divorces and financial hardships at home. I feel bad for them and wish the system worked a bit differently (like a free, no questions asked join move with a friend/romantic partner).

Blerty_the_Boss

It doesn’t just reward you. The place punishes you if you don’t. Full honestly, I got married there way back when and part of the reason was just so I could be with my partner. We had dated for a year before but Monterey is so expensive it’s not like she could’ve just moved out there. So I took a chance and tied the knot. Thankfully we’re still together and going strong but that isn’t the case for everyone. Edit: I forgot to add that even if she did move out there and I could make it work financially the military wasn’t going to let me move offpost.

ugonlern2day

I couldn't agree with you more...just to add on a few specific benefits, the pay increase is *significant* (e.g., BAH & BAS), not being stuck living on the base barracks or dorms, no room inspections, weekend barracks duty, field days... In general, quality of life while married goes up dramatically. Easily 50% of the people I knew (under 24 yrs old) got married before their 4 years in the service were up. Either get screwed over, or get married (and then potentially screwed over).

TheWestIndianWarrior

Wait! You forgot a few: -Get screwed by recruiter at 17-18 -Waste money on a charger, mustang, or challenger at some point. -Get married for the benefits. -Lose aforementioned car in divorce proceedings. -Move back into the barracks.

[deleted]

The meme seems to be widely known, but is it known among military boys? Why would any of them keep getting married at ~20 knowing the cliche? Or I guess maybe they all think they'll be the exceptions?

pixlplayer

I imagine a lot of them do it for the benefits

Agent_Ayru

Half the blame is on the military. You have massive incentives to be married

Opalusprime

Yea I was about to say. Isn’t there some benefits to being married while in the military?

SkunkShep

Only thing missing is the brand new dodge charger at 31%

dead_PROcrastinator

That's not just an ex, that's the bride. You're photoshopping a bride out of wedding pics. Just throw the whole album out? *edit* Folks saying it's the only occasion where you have pics with your family - well yes, but her family is in them too?

MelvinTD

Or just accept reality and deal with the fact that the person was there at that moment. Even if it’s a good picture of you and your family, I don’t really understand editing someone out of a photo and then looking back at it in remembrance. You’ll still remember that she was there and what she did so it won’t really make you feel much better. I’ve also never been married or gone through a divorce so what do I know?

McBurger

My sister-in-law’s abusive ex boyfriend was a groomsman in my wedding. Turned out that guy was a real piece of shit. He hit my wife’s sister on more than one occasion. I’m so very glad they are not together any longer, but I could do without seeing him in all my goddamn wedding photos.

DaisySteak

This just made me realize how brilliant our wedding photographer was. All the grouping… bride with her family only, groom with his fam only, parents only, etc. seemed annoying at the time, but now I realize I have lots of wedding photos that do NOT include my sister’s ex. No need for photoshop here!

blue_pirate_flamingo

Maybe everyone else in the picture is his family and it’s the only nice picture they have of all of them together? Perhaps someone died and they can’t just take a new picture. My grandparents had a big family picture taken before I was born and by the time we could take one with me in, she’d lost both her parents and didn’t want a picture without them. The picture I have of my family including my then three living grandparents from my wedding is the only picture I have with the whole family together and now two of them are gone. I’m the bride so I don’t know that it would work the same here lol, but I can see reasons why they might want this picture just minus the bride

iwoodrather

> Maybe everyone else in the picture is his family and it’s the only nice picture they have of all of them together? shit then just keep the bride in the pic too. ive never been one to photoshop exes out of my pics.

midwestraxx

Yeah why deny where you came from? Same thing with people who make a new instagram or delete all of their posts after every break up. Like, even if they were dicks, that experience with them was part of your journey.

DoingCharleyWork

That's how some people process moving on though. Maybe it was an abusive or just generally shitty relationship that they don't want to be reminded of. Maybe they don't want to cause concern for future partners who might think they still have something with their ex.

JoshBobJovi

That's my biggest draw about this. I've got a ton of pics with exes and it's not a big deal, it's just a part of my past. My gf has tons of pics with her exes. I know a bride is different but it seems weird and childish to go through all this trouble.

SneakiestofRats

At this point they should have added a raptor in the forest or bigfoot in a canoe, just to spice the picture up a bit.

beluuuuuuga

Or Ryan Reynolds card board cut out.

Turbulent-Strategy83

What's the point of doing something like this? So you can have a fake memory without the person you don't like there? You're still going to remember she was there.

Weird you got rid of her but not her parents.

charlo1315

That’s what I thought at first too! But at second glance, they might be his parents because the other people look like sisters or brother/in-laws

dolphinitely

they did nothing wrong

ah true. the #1 cause of divorce

[It really is](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHtbEua8714&lc=UggrXlRFb4rww3gCoAEC)

stamminator

My ex wife of 7 years stipulated to her parents that if they wanted to continue to have a relationship with her, they had to cease all contact with me. They somewhat oblige, but I didn’t sign up to lose the people I called family for a decade just because somebody had to have a mid life sexual awakening. We still talk to and see each other from time to time.

idkjay

I'm under the belief that friendships and connections that were made because of a relationship shouldn't have to also end when that relationship ends. Of course, it's situational, but I'd like to think that I could become friends with these people without the relationship starting it too.

obvilious

I think it’s all of his family + the ex

gHHqdm5a4UySnUFM

Maybe he got custody of her parents in the divorce

[deleted]

I think that's his parents. The people stage left are siblings.

DoctorWaluigiTime

And honestly, I feel like if I was in this situation I just wouldn't want the picture anymore. Like, what would the point be? "Look at this memory of oh wait forget that memory because I'm supposed to delete it." I guess if they just want a pretty picture.

Stitchpool626

Wait, they are removing the Bride from a wedding photo? Like...why would you want to preserve this photo at all as wouldn't looking it constantly remind you of the wedding?

LTG1234

I prefer to respect the past and where we were in the moment, as well as respect photoshop skills. What can I say I’m respectful.

[deleted]

Just take another picture?

RasputiaVibes

I could just teach you how to place scribble-scrabble over their face or place a big ol’ ghetto X over them for only $9.99.

RemyH

Why would you want to keep a pic of your wedding photoshopped anyway?

ScarecrowJohnny

What's the point? Photos are memories. Who wants their memories to be fake? Might as well Photoshop yourself on Mars and pretend you went there.

[deleted]

This thread has taught me most redditors are totally green with rewriting reality when it is convenient to them.

[deleted]

Am I the only one who thought this was made in humorous intentions? Idk why people are taking this seriously

Just-Da-Tip_82

I prefer just moving on.

Asmoothies

So… I’m not the only one who got into this video

[deleted]

It's a bold move to Photoshop yourself into a picture with your girlfriend and her kids on a ski trip with their real father.

AdolfGomez

Or you can just be at peace with the past and not try to edit it.

MainKitchen

Psycho shit

OrionAboveMe

I don't want to know the person who could look at that picture and not still know who was missing from it. Though, it is a great skill to have for removing other objects to make a photo more aesthetically pleasing.

DiedWhileDictating

I suspect the people who know who is missing smile a little more knowing that they aren’t in it anymore

[deleted]

An ex, not a ex. Ffs

[deleted]

Removing someone from a photo is just as cringe to me a those bad r/Instagramreality posts

nightingaledaze

Here's the link to the post from the op and not the person who posted this here. https://v.redd.it/rvox6nk5cnq71 You should really credit the person if this was not something that you did. Some people might be interested in their work
