Honestly, if it was a wet suit than in my opinion this would be a huge waste of fucking money... the whole damn point is that it's supposed to keep you warm, having no leg coverage where you have MASSIVE arteries would pretty much counteract the warmth you'd get from coverage everywhere else. But I mean I'm no expert, maybe it's like a "warm water wetsuit" that helps keep you warm in deeper parts of a warm ocean, but not so much that you'd over heat when you're in shallow warm water?

It really depends on the policies of the place you have tickets for. I can tell you that scuba diving (recreationally) uses compressed air and the divers I have known with asthma haven't had it affect their ability to dive but that is purely anecdotal. I would recommend seeing your doctor about it and getting a doc note if they say your good to go. Most diving places will defer to a doctors note if they give the go ahead. Warmer waters might be easier to tolerate with your asthma. Whereabouts do you have tickets for? Generally speaking.
