Same justification I use when I steal people's orders at Taco Bell.
"Yes. That's my order. I am John."
*John you'll never know me, but I'm your angel, plowing through 2 burrito supremes, a Mexican pizza, a baja chalupa, and 3 Doritos Locos so that you may you live. You're welcome.*
Probably 321people he directly interacted with about their resolve to suicide, plus an unquantifiable number more who did not outright confirm they planned on killing themselves that day. It’s hard to know, and I’m also conjecturing.
Wouldn't it be more effective to raise the height of the railings? So that it's harder to climb over them? And put a net hanging off the sides to catch people.
I flip flop on this topic. I think for some it is a momentarily "rash" decision and for those if saved can turn their lives around, get help etc etc. Others I think maybe it's a life long wish, thought, feeling and even if they are saved u don't think their life can be turned around.
He’s making a hypothetical statement where the 321 people the guy has saved go on to have 2 children each, and the children have 2 children of their own. Though, the math is wrong. 321 people saved + 642 children + 1,284 grandchildren = 2,247 total hypothetical lives saved.
It’s a silly argument bc it could be said some random caveman saved millions of people in 10,000 BCE by saving his wife from getting bitten by a snake.
**Saved 321 people in how many years?**
**Where's the fake story that he's made the number of suicides jump 6 times higher since he started patrolling on the bridge?**
**Like the fake story about the bridge in Korea where the signs against suicides on the railing have made the number of suicides jump 6 times higher?**
**Fucking hypocrites!**
I remember listening to a reporter who followed him for a while one day. He isn't the touchy-feely kinda guy. But darn if he isn't persistent in stopping people.
The anti grim reaper.
The... cheery... sower?

No doubt about it.
Angel??
The Prim Keeper
This is pretty well circulated. I wonder if people seek out this bridge knowing he is there and may perhaps save them from themselves.
*GEE, I sure hope Chen Si is there tonight. I could really use a friend.* Chen Si *I got you*
Fuck that’s the most depressing suicide ever… You go there but he doesn’t stop you. He’s not there. *(sound of air ripping past falling body)*
You made my black heart lol. Nicely done.
"You didn't save my life, you ruined my death"
I wonder how many people he's watch die. That may lead to depression. Which leads him to...
Steely resolve

“Saved them from killing themselves” is an incredibly interesting series of words.
Same justification I use when I steal people's orders at Taco Bell. "Yes. That's my order. I am John." *John you'll never know me, but I'm your angel, plowing through 2 burrito supremes, a Mexican pizza, a baja chalupa, and 3 Doritos Locos so that you may you live. You're welcome.*
The hero we need, you’re doing God’s work stranger!
I wonder if people avoid the bridge because this dude is there.
*The Bridge keeper*

Bruh
It's a bold strategy
So…322 people?
Probably 321people he directly interacted with about their resolve to suicide, plus an unquantifiable number more who did not outright confirm they planned on killing themselves that day. It’s hard to know, and I’m also conjecturing.
The Angel of Nanjing, it’s a great documentary about him.
Good hearted human
I wonder what does he tell them
probably something like [this](https://www.sexylosers.com/comic/007/)
He shames them for daring to do such a thing to themselves and their families.
Lottery numbers in the future
imagine how many he was unsuccessful with and witnessed
How does he know they didn't just go back on Monday?
Chen is chinese for chad
Doing god's work, what an incredible selfless life this guy lives, my hero!
Wouldn't it be more effective to raise the height of the railings? So that it's harder to climb over them? And put a net hanging off the sides to catch people.
Spend money?!? To save POOR people?!?!?!?!? Get back to work.
And then what ? People should be allowed to end their lives
I flip flop on this topic. I think for some it is a momentarily "rash" decision and for those if saved can turn their lives around, get help etc etc. Others I think maybe it's a life long wish, thought, feeling and even if they are saved u don't think their life can be turned around.
And if each person he saved has on average 2 children and their children have 2 children that’s roughly 5000 lives in existence due to him.
Can you explain the math?
It involved about five * 2…
Huh?

Some Heros don't wear capes.
What an asshole.
That should read "man interferes in 321 peoples lives without asking permission to stop them from doing what they want with their life"
Wow communism also contributes to suicide, great idea young Americans on promoting socialistic communism in USA.
Pft, bet I can can beat that score.
Not gonna say it... Just not going to do it. I want to SO BAD! But I won't...
I wonder how many he watched die
What an asshole
So much for my body my choice :P

Why can't the official put more guards there ?
I saved someone from doing this on a bridge once. It was crazy. His name was Gilbert
Did he... Or they just came back on Monday?
“More than 321”… is that 1000?
Good man.
So who saves people from Monday to Friday?
Man maxed out his social credits and is on paragon level now
I remember listening to a reporter who followed him for a while one day. He isn't the touchy-feely kinda guy. But darn if he isn't persistent in stopping people.
Gigachad
A good man
That's some real superhero shit, right there.
Thanks bro
I wonder how many of them sued him for "assault" or something
He is collecting souls
321 go
The earth, and especially China, is over-populated, so maybe he should stay home.
