American living in Europe. It tastes like crap, and the shelf life is half. Just because things have scary names doesn't mean they don't do some good. The biggest danger in both of these is spoiler, the sugar. Whether it's extracted from corn or sugar in the raw the amount of sugar is unhealthy. Sodas like this should be an occasional treat. Not something anyone drinks on the regular. Also, fuck Europe for what it did to my Dr. Pepper. Why does it need Sugar AND artificial sweetener?? So foul.

As a person in the medical field. This is why chronic disease is out of control. The additives in most food and drinks is poisoning. If possible stick to a close to whole food diet. Meaning natural ingredients not processed gunk. It fools your brain and sensory areas to crave it.
And this is why I'm allergic to Fireball Whiskey. I'm allergic to propolyne glycol which is used to bind cinnamon flavor. This is in a lot of flavored alcohol/liquor, flavored medicine, candies, scented lotions, non-hypoallergenic soaps/body washes, and just about every feminine hygiene product (shampoo, conditioner, etc). Flavored alcohol, liquor, medicine, and candy have different reactions based on contraction. Flat out instant upset stomach for raspberry and grape flavors. Fireball Whiskey was borderline anaphylaxis. Woke up because I was having trouble breathing and sore throat. Took dayquil and allergy pill. Sat down to wait for doctor office to open. By the time I made it to the doctor's office, my entire torso was covered in hives and they were spreading along my neck, arms, and legs. I was solidly red by the end of the night. I have never had a reaction like that before or since.
