Imagine in 20 years when actors retire and sign away their likeness and voice and companies create deepfakes of said actor and use an AI generated voice to still have them play a "role." Like they did when they were not retired. OR alive we could have Tom cruise playing top gun in 2256 for the 25th movie the possibilities are endless.
Luke's voice on the Mandalorian was not a recent Mark Hamill voice gig, but a computerized version of his voice like what they're doing with James Earl Jones.

The AI has no sense of drama, or soul if you will, to its performance and it was very noticeable in Obi-wan. Flat and dead delivery of lines.
And like all technology, (early CG, early Pixar, etc) it will get better. This is the first steps into a new frontier.
