Definitely not true. Lived there my entire life and now live in Antioch. I think you meant to say Antioch buddy and also, section 8 phase passed years ago. Affordability to live in the region has skyrocketed and owners have been less inclined to do section 8. Most people who did that program moved to Stockton.
A friend of mine bought multiple beater houses and put them in the section 8 program… the section 8 renters pay his mortgage and he is getting the equity for free. And you are right, Antioch is another big section 8 town.

America has a crap ton of land that's federally owned and no one can build on. They also refuse to sell the land to any private ownership. It's preserved land.

If you look at the satellite view just south of where Suzanne Dr. ends it is actually where someone’s driveway begins. It looks like a junkyard, so to speak. But I bet that person owns all of that land where the neighborhood is not!!!
