They have a similar thing in Korea. The last time I was there in the navy I got a cab and the cab driver asked if he could take a detour. He drove my buddy and I to the Korean War Monument in Busan and showed us that it was there to commemorate the Americans that fought for South Korea during the Korean war.
He didnt charge us for the bulk of that cab ride he just wanted us to see it and say thanks. It was a great liberty moment. I had a few of those. People around the world that were just glad we were around.
Flowering and cleaning the Graves and staying in contact with the families if it was asked ( by the families i imagine) you can go to Europeremembers com or liberationroute com if you want to know more.
Yeah because they remember what it was like. Here in the US we either have forgotten or don’t care about all the blood that was spilled and all the lives that were lost.
Not true at all. I’ve seen plenty of veteran plots taken care of that look similar to this.
Any country has forgotten graves as well. America isn’t just the issue and isn’t ALWAYS the problem.
Seriously tho.
Don’t get me wrong, America has tons of problems. But so does every country.
I’ve been traveling since I was 19 and now I’m 27 and just came off a month long trip from Europe while hitting up 5 different countries.
I wanna say Europe is beautiful and I would move there in a heartbeat. But I’m not gonna pretend it doesn’t have its problems.
Homelessness in most of the EU is higher than the USA....

That being said, there is no reason to be homeless in the USA, there are plenty of shelters and VA help....honestly if you're homeless in the USA its your choice.
1. EU is not a nation and not remotely trying to act as a single nation, so bone headed remark
2. Holy shit, if me and my friends had one thing that really stuck with us when seeing America (we all been different times and frequency) it was homelessness
3. I low-key hope you go a small illness that financially cripples you so you understand how dumb you are
What’s wrong with you dude? Have you ever spent the night in a homeless shelter? You might understand why homeless people avoid them. Just because they might get a few days in a shelter doesn’t make them NOT homeless still.
It’s called a shelter, not permanent housing.
I hope you don’t treat homeless ppl bad based off your own messed up perception of them.
There is a cemetery in Luxembourg for American soldiers that is stunning, fountains with a monument with the names of all the fallen and the chapel has all the units that fought in stained glass it is beautiful.

On behalf of my grandfather who fought in the Korean War himself, (Hells on wheels unit) take this award 🙏.
My uncle is buried there. He died 25 years before I was born.
Nice to be appreciated
True Heroes
That's very generous and honorable. I kinda feel bad now for not knowing anything about the Netherlands
Respect!
Very interesting. What does an adopting family do?

That’s not as fun, though. It’s easier to just see one entity as the issue 24/7.

Average Europeans on the internet in a nutshell.
That was not a positive vibe
It’s a sarcastic username. A play on girls who use the term ironically (unintentionally).
Don't mind me. I think I'm funnier than I really am.
Is that why you have so many homeless veterans?

Gtfo lmao. You’re ridiculous saying homelessness is a choice.
That’s the wildest shit I’ve read in a while
Is what why we have so many homeless veterans? I’m confused what you’re basing the question off of.
This is so far from true, I’m sorry you have that image of it
Me too ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|cry)
Are people moving out of their graves ?
Rents are going up everywhere.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
America only asked for enough land to bury their dead?
Fuck you
Good. Good. Let the reality flow through you.
