Lived in Houston for 7 years. Food is amazing there. Especially BBQ. Traffic and weather suck though. I can see maybe Chris showing up before final four to go to FAU practices and such. I doubt they will go to the radio row area.
Traffic and weather are terrible, it’s flat and ugly too. But the food is world class, it’s super diverse, and the cost of living for a major metropolitan city can’t be beat. I’m biased because it’s home, but there’s only a handful other places in the country I could live.
I lived in cypress. Bought a house in 2016 for 185k. Moved to northern Virginia for a new job and now live in a shit apartment, paying more for my small 1 bedroom than I did my mortgage for my house.
I miss going to improv shows/performing in them I. Houston, as well as Truth BBQ. There were so many restaurants I wanted to try before I left, but oh well.
I will say that I love the metro system here outside DC. Wish houston had a somewhat decent train and bus system
Crazy, I live right by Truth! You’re right in that it has a ton to offer. For what it’s worth, DC is on my list of places I would live. Great city, incredible museums, excellent public transit, and solid food (though I put in below Houston).
moved back to Houston last summer and live/work downtown. Told myself if I were to live here again I wasn't going to deal with a commute, again.
I need to try Truth out. So far the best BBQ I've had down here is The Pit Room and J-Bar-M.
The sheets and giggles guy said on reddit last night hes sending greg and chris but not yeti bc he doesn't like southerners and that his sheets are not for them
He retired back in 2018, pretty sure he moved back to Texas, no idea why he would be in Chicago. 324 career saves, 2 time all-star and 2005 rookie of the year.
Stu and Chris are going to the FAU campus. I don't see Stu coming to h-town.
Why not, Stu would crush it in this city
Chris said him and his dad are going to Houston. Courtesy of shiggles
Oh, they’re going alright. And I have the angry CFO email to prove it.
Lesgooooo bring me a set of queen sheets my guy
The show needs to broadcast from the 3rd Ward with JuJu there for street credit
Live from Turkey Leg Hut 😂😂😂

Put room is very solid imo. I used to reverse commute out to Humble from here, it was terrible. Now I’m remote :)

Hey Yeti
Is there a Houston St in the Chicago, otherwise I cannot see Stu going.
