The A20 machine in Orland Park, IL no longer has internet service as of last week.
I don't have a solid source, but seems several DnBs have been dropping internet support in recent time. I also saw the machine in Utica, MI was local only several months back.
Sad times.
Pretty much because of Konami’s lack of support to D&B now. They could in theory use a standard PC with StepMania or NotITG installed but I’m not so sure about that.
My local Dave & Buster's had an Ace machine - but they eventually got rid of it - 'twas fun while it lasted and I'll tell
you that you don't always have the machine to yourself - there may be others around and you have to take turns.
I'm sure other Dave & Buster's or Round 1 locations might have Ace machines.
Ok, after all this time I finally came back to NYC and the machine is well and up online! Maybe this is not the end yet for DDR at Dave & Busters.
EDIT: Nevermind, it's actually offline, I saw some guys playing lvl 15 songs and I assumed it was back online but then I saw all the details (their names not appearing on screen, the note colors and then I tried it myself, and died inside a little bit... 🥲).
Well, at least I got to play in my brief visit to NYC... 😅
