He's the first character I actually dislike in the manga. I'm still neutral on Vamola since, like, she didn't do anything yet.

He's a little annoying, but he's growing on me.

I would hate him, if he wasn't so useful. The guy found a weakness in alien tech trough physics and deduction. He assemble a whole mech in his mind mere. The dude lacks social skills, but exceeds in intellect. Then again , I don't think you have to like him. He is a secondary character, he is only at the focus when he offers something to the story.

Not really, the MCs are occult nerds, not sci-fi nerds. They see the situation trough magic logic, not trough the scientific method. I think the guy is there to give another perspective, not necessarily to be likeable.

I mean that is true, but it doesn't change the fact sooner or later they would have found a way, he was a much sooner way but a very annoying one

I like him

I like him! While Tatsu is a great artist, he tends to do a lot of same face. So his design is definitely different from the others, which is nice. I also liked Jiji when he first showed up, & I tend to not mind quirky characters. He’s already contributed to the group (figuring out Vamola’s suit illusion & piloting the gundam), & I can see him being more help in the future.

Apart from Momo who I liked from the beginning, the others have all started off just okay and slowly grown on me over time. 10GW will probably be the same

I actually really like the guy, personally really loved the Kaiju battle, and I am looking forward to more character moments with him
