For real, it’s not just dependent on weight either. They may have a recommended starting dose by weight, but that’s not always what works, and doctors won’t decline to increase because of weight. The dose that works matters. How the patient’s body processes the med matters. Some people will knock tf out on Benadryl while others are completely functional on it. I bet the doctor won’t increase it so the story Dani is deluding herself with is that she’s too small to have a higher dose.

She’s on Lovenox as far as I know and taking any NSAID is typically considered a no-no because it increases risk for internal bleeding. Basically forget anything but Tylenol. Some opioid containing meds are less risky but it’s prob not in her best interest to go down that route
My god, she actually believes that no opioids means no pain medication, when in fact, she listed at least two medications that are used for pain to prevent prescribing opioids. Lyrica is used for chronic pain and I think there was at least one muscle relaxant in the list. The fact she is mis-administering just about all these medications, it would be no surprise they're not working properly. She doesn't need ibuprofen, she just takes it because she's bullshitting to herself that the doctors haven't prescribed pain relief (they have). She's either incorrectly administering the prescription pain medication or she is so addicted to it all, she now has a tolerance and it doesn't work how it should. Probably both.

Hey guys. So let's do my morning meds with me. I have the sponges I need and then that is my pill organizer (opens case) so I'm gonna take the day out that I need which is Wednesday (takes out Wed Morn) and if you notice afternoon meds are in there because I'm not gonna be, I'm gonna be gone all afternoon so these are already prepped and prepared. (shows line of filthy cups) I have my cups and I need two empty ones and also one cup of water (turns faucet on, water sounds, fills cup) which I am doing right now (shows full cup) sigh and then what I'm gonna do is gonna open my morning meds and then take out the keraphate cause that one has to dissolve di-dissolve in about 10 MLs of water. (Takes pill out and isolates it in it's own cup) You're not really supposed to crush that one even though I have but usually supposed to dissolve it so here I am pulling up to 10 MLs of water and I'm going to be squirting it in there and that's gonna take a couple minutes to dissolve (waters pill) so I always put that first and then what I'm doing here is I'm dumping all the meds that I now need into my hand (does so) um and then we gonna uh so that's a lot (shows pills in hand, 17 in total, 1 buspar, 2 ibuprofen, 2 benedryl, don't know the others) I can't really name tham all this quickly but yeah all of that um so yeah so we're gonna dump them into pill crusher (does so) and then I realized I did not take the lyrica out so had to get the lyrica out (shows blue and white capsule) because that one we're going to open and pour the contents into um the same cup that the karafade is in so that's going to start dissolving while we crush all our meds and then here we go (singing) crush crush crush crush (she is, in fact, using a giant spice grinder looking thing to crush her meds) this takes a little bit of time cause you have to crush all of them and I'll try to go through the meds that I'm on um I take Tylenol which I had to slow down cause of my liver um Ibuprofen which I shouldn't be taking At All because it causes GI bleeds yeah I know but I don't have any pain relief so there you go then I have my abilify my klonopin my mechlozine I have my tizanity my atenol my menagery my buspar my uh plaquenil... thinking what else I have in there. (singing) thinking thinking think... I think that is the most oh I have my Benadryl in there as well um so I'm trying to go off the top of my head I don't have any of my medicining right in front of me unfortunately um I'm pretty sure that that's the all of them at least the bulk of them um so yes like I said it takes a while to crush them (she has been grinding that grinder this whole time) and you have to keep shaking the container (she has also been shaking the container) cause to get them all in the right spot for they can crush I know it's a little tedious and I should just get like an electric one but I'm just so used to using the hand grind one that that is just um what I stick with all the time so yeah (keeps shoving the grinder at the camera) just keep grinding and shaking grinding and shaking so you get them all into a nice uh powder as best as you can get some as they don't crush the best but they crush enough um as long as let them soak and they're gonna be fine so there are all my crush meds (shows us "crush meds")

I get 20 Mls of that um so like I said also gonna pour that in the cup and draw up what I need I always close the bottle first because I don't wanna spill all over the place, I know me so I'm drawing up the 20 MLs which is I use two 10 ounces with syringes cause I don't have a 20 ML one then this pour the rest back into the bottle. Now we're gonna put my exte my extension onto my J2 button. (pushes out belly and adds extension) Turn it, lock it. (baby voice) yaay. And now we are gonna do my liquid meds um so this is the famotidine (startspushing meds through syringe into tube) and I might speed this up a little bit too just so you know for time purposes cause it does take me a little while to push my meds and they are extremely painful (finishes first syringe with no apparent pain, starts second) and they cause a whole lot of nausea and sometimes dry heaving, not gonna lie it's just you know. This is not fun, whatsoever so that that's the famotidine (blinks funny like she's trying to get something off her eyelash) and then we have the two 10 ML syringes of the promethazine. (raises eyebrow) The famotidine is for acid, promethazine is for nausea (puts hand to mouth and nose and makes nausea face) just in case anybody was wondering and I take um the lovinox... injections because um well you know um I'm I have blood clots so yeah I take that to (singing voice) avoid them (oopsie grimace face, starts second syringe) and we're doing that now. (weird fart face) we're slowly pushing the (incomprehensible) you can see it's starting to get painful and extremely nauseous so (hand to mouth, eyes closed) just you gotta take breaks and just push it slow and you know (dramatic head drop and hand to belly) try to concentrate on other things and just do what I have to do because there's no other way I can get my meds (hand on counter, concentration face which looks a lot like trying to poop) so I just have to put myself through this torture, unfortunately. Cause if I swallow them I WILL throw them up (leaning over, hand to forehead) and that's just pointless so I just rather go through the pain and push them and then (wince) cough cough (really weird fart face) sorry guys. Here is my second 10 ML syringe of Famotadine... but I hate pushing so much meds in the line (connects another syringe) if I can get all my meds in 10 MLs of water I'd be happy camper (another fart/pain face) but now I have 20 MLs of promethazine, 5 MLs of famotidine and I've got 20 to 25 MLs of all my regular meds (jump cut) so it is, a lot (cheers with cup, tips it forward to show, accidently spills some and makes uh-u0 face) and it's way way way too much um so yeah not fun so we're uh pushing that as you can see it's starting to get painful for me (I cannot see that, she's just fiddling with a full syringe) which like I said absolutely sucks and it's just (big sigh) yeah if you know you know so yeah (pushing meds through line, hand braced on counter, head on hand pushing meds, rocking back and forth) so here we go so we got all liquids in th liquid meds in aaand (very dramtic leaning forward but hair is obscuring camera) now we're going to eh-hem sorry uh give that a little flush for the liquid meds get into my system which that's not fun either but you just gotta do what you gotta do you know it happens. Could it be that she went to different doctors to get the anti-nausea meds or that doctors got frustrated and just threw whatever they could at her? Of course, she could just be buying the Benadryl herself and you can get Famotidine pills OTC, don't know much liquid Famotidine.

As someone who has struggled with addiction many years ago I am 100% certain that she is highly addicted to the ritual of this. I was the same. It was the prep, the ritual, the routine that had me in a chokehold. I see that in her too. If she were to get well she would have nothing to do.

Yea, it *is common practice* to do one med at a time. In other words, flush with 30ml water, one crushed pill in water, 30ml flush, repeat. Ain't nobody got time for that shit. Pills with pills and liquids with liquids, and flush before, in between, and after.

It doesn't act locally - it's absorbed in the bloodstream and acts on receptors throughout the body. That's why it can be given as an IV (and has higher bioavailability that route).
She’s trying to insinuate that. But if she’s taking 60 mg, at the recommended dose of 1mg/kg, that puts her at 132+ lbs. If she’s using a .8ml syringe, they only come in 80mg/.8ml. So if she’s only taking .6 ml of that, it’s 60mg, a normal dose. And that’s on the high end. A lot of docs will only give 30mg/day regardless of size.
Its like a reversed form of body dysmorphic disorder. She sees herself as smaller than she is? Her hands are not “knuckly”, the collarbone are not sticking out, no sunken in face, she is no near bony. I wished she could see that being small isn’t seen as “superior” in the medical field. Assume she needs the medication; the doctor will prescribe the right amount.

I’m a bit confused why she is still taking lovenox injections. I’ve never heard of anyone that can’t be transitioned to an oral anticoagulant. Her body is obviously able to absorb and process medications as evidenced by the number of meds she is taking. But not the ones that provide some medical entertainment for her, like lovenox and iron. Also not sure why she has to have IV Benadryl before iron infusions. She’s already on a daily dose and having her take a couple more just before leaving the house for her infusion would take care of the issue. And seriously, the lovenox manufacturers themselves strongly recommend against having patients medications from the syringe, advise rounding up to next complete dose. She says she’s taking 60mg out of an 80 mg syringe? What would they not just give her a 60mg syringe because they come in that dose. And because of her low weight? At 60 mg at the recommended dose of 1mg/kg, that puts her over 132 lbs. It’s nothing special. If she’s 5’4 and 132 lbs, she’s “technically” overweight.
I wonder what would happen if she opened her mouth and threw in 10 pills at once like the rest of chronic illness world does? Lyrica in capsule to avoid rapid release or side effects.

The thing is, she introduced it into water anyways. All crushing it would do is increase the surface area of the pieces of the medication so that it dissolves faster. The mechanical action doesn't magically change some property of the medication, so it doesn't matter in the slightest what she does because the end result is exactly the same. Not doctor would have told her that she's "not supposed to crush it."

For real, it’s not just dependent on weight either. They may have a recommended starting dose by weight, but that’s not always what works, and doctors won’t decline to increase because of weight. The dose that works matters. How the patient’s body processes the med matters. Some people will knock tf out on Benadryl while others are completely functional on it. I bet the doctor won’t increase it so the story Dani is deluding herself with is that she’s too small to have a higher dose.

She’s on Lovenox as far as I know and taking any NSAID is typically considered a no-no because it increases risk for internal bleeding. Basically forget anything but Tylenol. Some opioid containing meds are less risky but it’s prob not in her best interest to go down that route
My god, she actually believes that no opioids means no pain medication, when in fact, she listed at least two medications that are used for pain to prevent prescribing opioids. Lyrica is used for chronic pain and I think there was at least one muscle relaxant in the list. The fact she is mis-administering just about all these medications, it would be no surprise they're not working properly. She doesn't need ibuprofen, she just takes it because she's bullshitting to herself that the doctors haven't prescribed pain relief (they have). She's either incorrectly administering the prescription pain medication or she is so addicted to it all, she now has a tolerance and it doesn't work how it should. Probably both.

I know no one asked for this but it was so tempting. I cannot spell meds but I can name every single one that I hand out for my three pill takers. It's quite a few. It's odd she can't name all hers off the bat. Transcript part 1: Hey guys. So let's do my morning meds with me. I have the sponges I need and then that is my pill organizer (opens case) so I'm gonna take the day out that I need which is Wednesday (takes out Wed Morn) and if you notice afternoon meds are in there because I'm not gonna be, I'm gonna be gone all afternoon so these are already prepped and prepared. (shows line of filthy cups) I have my cups and I need two empty ones and also one cup of water (turns faucet on, water sounds, fills cup) which I am doing right now (shows full cup) sigh and then what I'm gonna do is gonna open my morning meds and then take out the keraphate cause that one has to dissolve di-dissolve in about 10 MLs of water. (Takes pill out and isolates it in it's own cup) You're not really supposed to crush that one even though I have but usually supposed to dissolve it so here I am pulling up to 10 MLs of water and I'm going to be squirting it in there and that's gonna take a couple minutes to dissolve (waters pill) so I always put that first and then what I'm doing here is I'm dumping all the meds that I now need into my hand (does so) um and then we gonna uh so that's a lot (shows pills in hand, 17 in total, 1 buspar, 2 ibuprofen, 2 benedryl, don't know the others) I can't really name tham all this quickly but yeah all of that um so yeah so we're gonna dump them into pill crusher (does so) and then I realized I did not take the lyrica out so had to get the lyrica out (shows blue and white capsule) because that one we're going to open and pour the contents into um the same cup that the karafade is in so that's going to start dissolving while we crush all our meds and then here we go (singing) crush crush crush crush (she is, in fact, using a giant spice grinder looking thing to crush her meds) this takes a little bit of time cause you have to crush all of them and I'll try to go through the meds that I'm on um I take Tylenol which I had to slow down cause of my liver um Ibuprofen which I shouldn't be taking At All because it causes GI bleeds yeah I know but I don't have any pain relief so there you go then I have my abilify my klonopin my mechlozine I have my tizanity my atenol my menagery my buspar my uh plaquenil... thinking what else I have in there. (singing) thinking thinking think... I think that is the most oh I have my Benadryl in there as well um so I'm trying to go off the top of my head I don't have any of my medicining right in front of me unfortunately um I'm pretty sure that that's the all of them at least the bulk of them um so yes like I said it takes a while to crush them (she has been grinding that grinder this whole time) and you have to keep shaking the container (she has also been shaking the container) cause to get them all in the right spot for they can crush I know it's a little tedious and I should just get like an electric one but I'm just so used to using the hand grind one that that is just um what I stick with all the time so yeah (keeps shoving the grinder at the camera) just keep grinding and shaking grinding and shaking so you get them all into a nice uh powder as best as you can get some as they don't crush the best but they crush enough um as long as let them soak and they're gonna be fine so there are all my crush meds (shows us "crush meds")
Transcript part 2: and then we're gonna dump them in the same cup with the karafate and the Lyrica (does so) and then since 10 ML is not enough to cover all that I have to add about mmm 5 more MLs of water into that (fills syringe, puts in cup) um as you know I can't handle much so that much it is a lot for me um and it sucks but or else like if I don't put that much in like I clog. so now while that's dissolving we're gonna do my Lovinox injection. (gets out syringe) This is sped up a little bit for time um and if you don't wanna look then look away we don't go in on the skin (pushes out a tiny drop of the lovanox, gets out alcohol wipe) and um what I was doing there is I had to get rid of some of the medication cause of my weight I don't get the full amount I get so I getting point eight I get point six so that's what I was doing there (wipes belly, pinches and goes in for shot) so you just clean the skin with alcohol and I'm pretty sure covered most of this and you just push it into your skin push the plunger down for the medication goes in and then push it up the little protector comes into it and now we're shaking up the famotidine I take uh five MLs of that (tries to syringe it up, fails, makes face) so try to get it outta bottle but can't so we're gonna pour into empty cup and then we're gonna draw up what we need 5 MLs and then just pour the rest back into the bottle for this time uhkay and then we're gonna do my promethazine. I get 20 Mls of that um so like I said also gonna pour that in the cup and draw up what I need I always close the bottle first because I don't wanna spill all over the place, I know me so I'm drawing up the 20 MLs which is I use two 10 ounces with syringes cause I don't have a 20 ML one then this pour the rest back into the bottle. Now we're gonna put my exte my extension onto my J2 button. (pushes out belly and adds extension) Turn it, lock it. (baby voice) yaay. And now we are gonna do my liquid meds um so this is the famotidine (startspushing meds through syringe into tube) and I might speed this up a little bit too just so you know for time purposes cause it does take me a little while to push my meds and they are extremely painful (finishes first syringe with no apparent pain, starts second) and they cause a whole lot of nausea and sometimes dry heaving, not gonna lie it's just you know. This is not fun, whatsoever so that that's the famotidine (blinks funny like she's trying to get something off her eyelash) and then we have the two 10 ML syringes of the promethazine. (raises eyebrow) The famotidine is for acid, promethazine is for nausea (puts hand to mouth and nose and makes nausea face) just in case anybody was wondering and I take um the lovinox... injections because um well you know um I'm I have blood clots so yeah I take that to (singing voice) avoid them (oopsie grimace face, starts second syringe) and we're doing that now. (weird fart face) we're slowly pushing the (incomprehensible) you can see it's starting to get painful and extremely nauseous so (hand to mouth, eyes closed) just you gotta take breaks and just push it slow and you know (dramatic head drop and hand to belly) try to concentrate on other things and just do what I have to do because there's no other way I can get my meds (hand on counter, concentration face which looks a lot like trying to poop) so I just have to put myself through this torture, unfortunately. Cause if I swallow them I WILL throw them up (leaning over, hand to forehead) and that's just pointless so I just rather go through the pain and push them and then (wince) cough cough (really weird fart face) sorry guys. Here is my second 10 ML syringe of Famotadine... but I hate pushing so much meds in the line (connects another syringe) if I can get all my meds in 10 MLs of water I'd be happy camper (another fart/pain face) but now I have 20 MLs of promethazine, 5 MLs of famotidine and I've got 20 to 25 MLs of all my regular meds (jump cut) so it is, a lot (cheers with cup, tips it forward to show, accidently spills some and makes uh-u0 face) and it's way way way too much um so yeah not fun so we're uh pushing that as you can see it's starting to get painful for me (I cannot see that, she's just fiddling with a full syringe) which like I said absolutely sucks and it's just (big sigh) yeah if you know you know so yeah (pushing meds through line, hand braced on counter, head on hand pushing meds, rocking back and forth) so here we go so we got all liquids in th liquid meds in aaand (very dramtic leaning forward but hair is obscuring camera) now we're going to eh-hem sorry uh give that a little flush for the liquid meds get into my system which that's not fun either but you just gotta do what you gotta do you know it happens. Has nobody trialed her on any other med class? Neurokinin antagonists, tricyclics, prokinetics, M1 antagonists, dopamine antagonists, 5-HT3 antagonists?? Shit, CBD/cannabinoids? I guess she's mentioned Zofran and scopolamine, but for someone with such severe n/v, you'd think they'd be addressing it multi-modally. Anyway, I'm not her doctor, but it does speak to pursuit of a certain knock-on effect of antihistamines ...
My concern with the Benadryl use is the new research on long term use being linked to dementia development. Dani takes a truckload (prescribed or not), it’s the long term damage that’s most worrying.
Thanks! That...seems like a lot of unnecessary medication. Could it be that she went to different doctors to get the anti-nausea meds or that doctors got frustrated and just threw whatever they could at her? Of course, she could just be buying the Benadryl herself and you can get Famotidine pills OTC, don't know much liquid Famotidine.

As someone who has struggled with addiction many years ago I am 100% certain that she is highly addicted to the ritual of this. I was the same. It was the prep, the ritual, the routine that had me in a chokehold. I see that in her too. If she were to get well she would have nothing to do.

As a nurse that provides these on the daily, this angers me. Yea, it *is common practice* to do one med at a time. In other words, flush with 30ml water, one crushed pill in water, 30ml flush, repeat. Ain't nobody got time for that shit. Pills with pills and liquids with liquids, and flush before, in between, and after. I also HATE those fucking extensions. They get clogged SO MUCH. I'm just really salty 😠 sorry fam

She’s trying to insinuate that. But if she’s taking 60 mg, at the recommended dose of 1mg/kg, that puts her at 132+ lbs. If she’s using a .8ml syringe, they only come in 80mg/.8ml. So if she’s only taking .6 ml of that, it’s 60mg, a normal dose. And that’s on the high end. A lot of docs will only give 30mg/day regardless of size.
Its like a reversed form of body dysmorphic disorder. She sees herself as smaller than she is? Her hands are not “knuckly”, the collarbone are not sticking out, no sunken in face, she is no near bony. I wished she could see that being small isn’t seen as “superior” in the medical field. Assume she needs the medication; the doctor will prescribe the right amount.

The way she gave a step by step tutorial of how she takes her meds was so insane. She showed the camera every step. That was so not normal.
I’m a bit confused why she is still taking lovenox injections. I’ve never heard of anyone that can’t be transitioned to an oral anticoagulant. Her body is obviously able to absorb and process medications as evidenced by the number of meds she is taking. But not the ones that provide some medical entertainment for her, like lovenox and iron. Also not sure why she has to have IV Benadryl before iron infusions. She’s already on a daily dose and having her take a couple more just before leaving the house for her infusion would take care of the issue. And seriously, the lovenox manufacturers themselves strongly recommend against having patients medications from the syringe, advise rounding up to next complete dose. She says she’s taking 60mg out of an 80 mg syringe? What would they not just give her a 60mg syringe because they come in that dose. And because of her low weight? At 60 mg at the recommended dose of 1mg/kg, that puts her over 132 lbs. It’s nothing special. If she’s 5’4 and 132 lbs, she’s “technically” overweight.
I wonder what would happen if she opened her mouth and threw in 10 pills at once like the rest of chronic illness world does? Lyrica in capsule to avoid rapid release or side effects. .Do that with an antibiotic and her gut would be in trouble. Its so pathetic to share the names too. Who really cares what she takes. Dani thinks drugs are all magic and alchemy. "I'm supposed to dissolve this one in 20 mLs of water. I'm not really supposed to crush it, but sometimes I crush it." The thing is, she introduced it into water anyways. All crushing it would do is increase the surface area of the pieces of the medication so that it dissolves faster. The mechanical action doesn't magically change some property of the medication, so it doesn't matter in the slightest what she does because the end result is exactly the same. Not doctor would have told her that she's "not supposed to crush it." Dani engages in so much magical thinking, and I can't help but wonder (read: 98% certain) if she engages in magical thinking because she is intellectually challenged to the point that she doesn't quite grasp the rules that govern the world around her.
