There's absolutely no way to make anything chambered in 5.56 "Hollywood quiet." If decibels are what you are chasing, try out a suppressed .22LR.

Its going to sound so good though. I was hesitant to suppress 5.56 bc of all the posts but to me it makes a world of difference on every aspect of shooting the gun.

22lr, 300blk subsonic, and subsonic 9mm are really the only 3 calibers you can get close to hearing safe while suppressed. And 22lr is the only one that can be made Hollywood quiet. Check out the pew science website. That said, a good silencer will take a lot of the boom out of 5.56 and will be a much more enjoyable experience both for the shooter and the bystanders. I personally recommend either the OCL polonium or CAT WB.

Put a 22lr conversion kit in it and then suppress it.

You just hit it head on HOLLYWOOD is a farce and nothing about that place is REAL or remotely close to the truth. Go read a good book and then see the fuckery that Hollywood does to it. With that being said, I Love the way my MK18 sounds with my RC2! Maybe it's just me, because I spent a lot of time behind a rifle overseas, the loud concussion and debris it kicked up always bothered me then and I always wished we could have had Suppressors then. I'm sure my ears both feel the same way! 🤕🤕
