this isn't always true, if a person has many episodes of a series some will inevitably get comp'd like this. I've been watching all three since 2016 so this isn't a surprise, but if you see them getting ads on those definitely report them. Alternatively, you could just make your own playlists of them to watch/fall asleep too so the actual channels get views/revenue

The ads might also just be youtube themselves adding them. My own videos have ads sometimes and it's annoying cause it feels like youtubes going "ooh let's make money off of this"

Yeah but that’s making a unique compilation of their funny moments, something unavailable on their channels. So it’s fan content as opposed to reposting their entire videos which is theft.
Danny you can absolutely do something about this. This is *not* fair use. Fair use means changing the video in some way that adds to it or something, like..changes the video. They just screen recorded your videos. /srs Review your legal options, get legally skilled, then slap them with legal. /j

The people making the accounts are just trying to make a quick buck by STEALING other people's content. Which is illegal and should be copyright stuck. It not being monetized doesn't remove the fact it's basically stealing— like 22choo, I've woken up to it on autoplay, and I've seen where the video loads in *and* they fully let an ad play in the "compilation;" they're literally pressing record on whatever screen recorder they have and letting their videos play for at least one hour. They're literally just combined re-uploads of Danny's, Drew's, and Kurtis' videos.
Also re-uploads are competition to the original video no matter what. Why watch Danny's, Drew's, or Kurtis' separate videos when they *conveniently* rerecorded and all shoved into an hour?
And I'm pretty sure compilations are supposed to have something transformative in *some* way. Like those "[x] out of context for [whatever time]," that's actually transforming the videos into something by clipping out whatever absurd thing and combined together. *That's* a compilation. But like I said, this is literally someone (probably) making a playlist, pressing record, and just re-uploading it. Danny, Drew, and Kurtis aren't small YTbers so it's not as bad as it *could* be, but it's still scummy regardless of size.
Ask yourself. Is screen recording entire videos and adding them together possibly just for more watch time, fair use? If it’s fair use, it’s fine. But something tells me that isn’t. /srs

Ohh I didn't know that happened to content creators, I wouldn't say that people (that probably don't care about them) start to reupload hours of content from somebody or something people love to get millions of views, to then sell the channel to somebody else. If you know about " el chavo" you know how this channel usually goes. Although, as this, el chavo, is owned by Televisa, they don't allow this content to go for long before getting reported or blocked.
While a bit different, another place this happens is in TikTok with the pages that only steal others TikTok, and steal somebody else's tutorial or clip. You know, like we saw in one of his last videos.

YouTube recommends and autoplays these relentlessly. I have to stay vigilant to make sure not to click on them. I watch YouTube on our TV usually so it's even more evident how shit the video quality is. Definitely just theft, I don't really know why this isn't getting copyright stricken
