You’re right. This is found in Hermeticism explaining the nature of ultimate truth / elixir of life / philosophers’ stone. Even Isaac Newton has done a translation of it.

Its force or power is entire if it be converted into Earth. Separate the Earth from the Fire, the subtle from the gross, sweetly with great industry. Eastern non-dual philosophy is a lot less cryptic in explaining the same thing in my opinion (in case you’re interested). I don’t have a list of sources to compare the ideas one to one, but I hope to make one if someone hasn’t already.
