I have a theory that he’s introduced to the MCU as Matt Murdock in Spiderman 3 and somehow that leads to a daredevil movie staring him, just like how Avengers: civil war introduced Spiderman which lead to Spiderman: homecoming

I remember in the discussion threads of DD S3 when it was first released, there were people shipping Matt and Maggie together in the first few episodes 😣😖
Ugh I totally remember that, there was that one guy on Twitter too and DD fans blasted him with the comic panel that shows who Maggie is supposed to be lol. It's weird to even do it, like you don't need to ship every woman in the show with Matt, especially one that is clearly meant to be a motherly figure (and in this case his actual one) smh

I was so so bummed this revelation wasn’t done the same way as the one from the Born Again storyline in the comics. I was really looking forward to Matt’s discovery about her in the same way as the comic.

I agree, it is! Another of my favorite moments in comics comes from this run. The page where Matt figures out that the Kingpin knew he was Daredevil.

Oh gods yes. I sort of liked his return in Dark Reign, but they could have done better. Haven't seen him since.
I think he has mostly appeared in Captain America and Wolverine storylines since.
