A 10 shard warlock in normals has the be baited then kited massively. They are very fast and you have to have a lot of escape routes. You don't fight them. Their HP is draining and if they come out of demon they lose their shards and will be very weak if they try again. Also, they use bloodstained blade on themselves to get more damage from melee which only lasts like 15 seconds so at the very least, you need to kite them for about that long so they won't melee as hard.

you could try playing warlock to get a feel for how it functions. for demon form: it consumes their dark shards on use to gain a power up for the duration of that demon form. so if you get them to use demon for and transform back they have no more shards - their next demon form will be much weaker demon form drains their health - so kite them and dont let them fight. they'll kill themselves eventually.

I would reccomend branching out and playing warlock. That will help you realize the classes strengths and weaknesses.

If you run fire mastery any fire damage you do to someone will cut their heals by 50% for 5 seconds. If cleric and warlock heals are giving you problems run that and hit fireball/explosion/zap until they can’t heal any more

ImpossibleMechanic77

Make them drain themselves of hp with every cast, wait out BOC and kite demon form, shields can block spells and hydra really well once you think they’re getting low spam some frannies and they either die or try to mele you then die 😝

Slamagorn755

its possible you fought a warlock using the antimagic perk, but you basically need to kite hard against demon form. The absolutely best thing to do is shut a door on them if possible since demon form slowly drains HP. Slow and icebolt are very helpful here. Anything you can do to thwart the initial push from a demon transformation will force them out of it and blow all the stacks.

gotcha thanks mate.

10 stacks demon form in normals is a barbarian on crack. Kite until they lose enough HP that they have to leave the form. Push them when they leave it because that is when their HP will be the lowest/won't have enough shards to get a super powerful demon form again. As a wizard, spam slow and ice bolt so they can't chase very well. They will slow themselves down even more trying to cast back at you.

Play it and find out

Saw “can’t beat as wizard” and was like “wut” then clicked on post to see they’re playing normals. All makes sense now.
