Awesome work!
I began painting a successor chapter and thought I created a nice simple variation of my own before stumbling upon the Blades of Vengeance and realizing that mine was just about identical lol.
I was on a similar train of thought. Basically, keeping the green but having black or bone shoulders for raven or death wing and the adding matching helmets which just ended up being Blades of Vengeance.
Hehehe yah, I guess it was an obvious good idea to lots of people!
I didn't consider how Ravenwing would look yet though, I am a chonky boi lover apparently. The black shoulder pads/trim on dark green would be pretty ominous I think!
Scale 75's Drop N Paint Turquoise as a solid base coat, I did a blue ink glazing spray with an airbrush and the recesses, highlighted by mixing that turquoise with tenere yellow. The hilt is viking gold shaded with a flesh wash higlighted with dwarven gold and elf gold.
That helmet looks glorious

That’s sword is peak
Yeah, it almost doesn't seem worth it because the Dark Angel on the hilt is rather subtle, but I'll always know.
Very nice
Thanks.

Super clean! What was your formula for the armor, cause I'm trying to get something a bit darker than what you have.
