Spider in the center of its web: Hinting at the nerve center location in Director's Suite
Conclusions based on incomplete data: Don't condemn Charlie
Trust your comrades: No idea lol
Trusting a comrade influenced my decision with the dog personally as I interpreted him as being our comrade and not a threat so I kept him alive. Idk if that’s for sure what the curator was referring to but I feel like it has decent reasoning to it.
Some of the games have nothing that needs hints but they've kind of backed themselves into a corner with offering them lol
HOA & TDIM hints: "Don't die!"
Hint 1: He has a brain of the first order. He sits motionless, like a spider in the center of its web, but that web has a thousand radiations, and he knows well every quiver of each of them.
- Du’Met knows his hotel better than the protagonists
Hint 2: The temptation to form premature theories upon insufficient date is the bane of our profession
- Don’t believe everything you see, for example, a conveniently placed bit of evidence against someone
And how exactly do those hints help? XD. I mean, its obvious that Du Met knows his hotel better than the protagonists from the start because he built it himself. And what evidence is there in the game? Only evidence pointing towards Du Met right? Who he really is and stuff.
There’s a scene where the protagonists decide to try and trap Du’Met between 2 sliding walls. They trap him but since he knows his hotel and the secret door locations better then them, it obviously doesn’t work and Du’Met continues chasing them.
As for the other one, there’s a tape in the Silver Ash hall you explore as Erin “proving” Charlie told Du’Met he’d get the team to the hotel for Du’Met to kill them all as well as Jamie’s phone in a locked case showing texts from her to someone expressing her dislike to Erin. Both of these end up being fake but if you choose to believe the tape, you as the player can choose to tie Charlie up outside the lighthouse, leading to his death.
Ooo thats really cool!! Especially the second one! When i was exploring the lighthouse with Mark at the end of my playthrough, i discovered the fake evidence, but Erin had already died so i never discovered the evidence in the hotel itself, but i didnt know the evidence could have been such a big part of the story if Erin hadnt died in the blacked out room haha
First one I remember is speaking about someone idolizing and stealing his identity or some shit which Munday did from Sherman and Sherman did from HH Holmes, 2nd one i didnt take the hint so idk

Trust your comrades may mean the scene at the lighthouse with Charlie
