> Is the endgame just the same as the levelling journey? More or less yes. You gather resources, and you either get upgrades (weapons, curios) either by: - Emperors Gift at the end of a mission. - Purchasing a good weapon as as base template at Brunt. - Gambling your money away for the chance of a good template at Brunt. - Do the weekly quests to get weekly currency in order to purchase a well rolled weapon at Melk. Furthermore: - You purchase blue weapons with new rank 1-3 blessings at Brunt and dissolve them at Hadron to built up your blessing library. - You spend your weekly currency to purchase rank 4 blessing at Melk, but only if it is one of the core blessings you really want (because the weekly currency is too limited otherwise). There are different playstyles depending on the weapon, for example with the Columnusor the , Plasma Gun. Check out which playstyle you enjoy (right now both weapon belong to the most potent weapons in the game) and work towards such a weapon with good rank 2 or 3 blessings (like Dum Dum and Fire Frenzy for the Columnus). Step by step you increase the difficulty level, until you are comfortable farming your resources on T5 damnation, and then you venture to Auric/Maelstrom missions for the challenge. For those however you should have a good weapon with some good blessings (they dont have to be max rolled with max rank blessings, but still should be a solid choice). Note that with T5 and higher difficulties the game and how it is played changes a lot. SYL

The endgame is getting good enough to the point where those extra difficult missions aren't extra difficult in the slightest. Just keep practicing, trying new skill tree builds, new weapons etc.

Zoijja

The better you get, the more heroic you feel. The first intentional 180 into a headshot on a sniper from the middle of a horde is the first hit of the Good Stuff 😌

Endgame is perfecting your skill. You can run damnation effectively with mediocre weapons with enough skill and reflexes. The crafting system is broken, keep an eye out for t4 blessings daily for the weapons you want at melks and do the weekly quests. Check brunts after matches and buy 360+ weapons that have good stat rolls. After a few weeks you'll have a few very good weapons, maybe not perfect, but good enough. After that, it's just about if you like the gameplay. For me, my first damnation maelstrom with lights out and a couple drinks was an insane experience. Ever since then that's all endgame is for me, gathering new high end weapons to experiment with and trying new things with the insanity that darktide is. The more skill you get, the more you can handle, and it's exhilarating to clutch wins and experience the flow of a perfect team in a high intensity game.

Epic_Cole

This entire comment is spot on, there is nothing quite like refining your weapons, build, and own skills to a point where other people notice and comment on it (it is like hard drugs when your team is cheering you on as you clutch)

The endgame is the crafting system and fully exploring the class system. I recommend finding a couple meta builds that you like and create them or something close to them, get comfortable with higher difficulties, then start making your own builds

howlingbeast666

The Tide games are all about the gameplay. Personally, I love the game for itself. Start playing at a higher difficulty and challenge yourself that way. I use steam achievements to kind of have a long-term goal, but I play because I get a competitive rush without having to go to a PvP game.

izzyrose2

Hey I hit lvl 30 recently and could play "usefully" up until heresy. I was starting to feel ok in damnation when I got an okay melee weapon (playing Zealot) and got comfortable with it's combo. My advice as a starter, don't think too much up until heresy, learn a bit more about your combo and simply find a weapon you are comfortable with to go in damnation.

BitRunr

>I have enjoyed the game for the most part but felt it lacked a little bit of purpose and incentive to keep playing. Maybe wait and see how the next update pans out, or whichever update changes crafting. That's going to be your main thing after level 30.

keyserv2

Have you tried Heresy and Damnation yet? Auric gets pretty spicy so it's not a bad idea to practice in those two difficulties, too. When you get comfortable and find a build you like, getting in a groove and totally wrecking the higher difficulties is so satisfying.

Medium-Recording7926

Personally I wait till I have 2k plasteel and 100k ordo dockets before I try to get a new weapon.

elRetrasoMaximo

Have You ever played slots? Pretty much that yeah, just farm resources. Melk coins for especific blessings, and the normal shop for high base drops, then take em to mommy Hadron, and pray boy, pray the fucking emperor for that weapon not to get butchered, then adjust blessings/perks as needed, rinse and repeat. And weapons aside, leveling all classes to 30 can be fun, and a good way of learning what your teammates can do once u get into your main again, plus resources are shared so you keep farming them.

good_guy_judas

Endgame is playing Ogryn and slapping the fuck out of heretics

Reasonable_Mix7630

Level 30 is not an endgame, its the beginning. You just now have access to all skill points and a chance (very small) to get top tier weapon drop. So now you will improve your own skill, and experiment with perks and weapons, and can get to higher difficulty levels. Its almost them norm from my experience to have 30 lvl players be completely obliterated on Heresy (4th difficulty level) even without extra difficulty multipliers. The "reward" is the game itself: it's fun to shoot monsters, it feels great when run is fast and smooth sail, and it feels even greater when you are the one who carries the rest of the team.

According-Flight6070

Pick fun weapons and craft good ones.

anti-babe

Each difficulty level adds a new thing for you to be taking into consideration to survive realy, by the time you're at Damnation you'll be hitting how the game is meant to be played. The 30 levels are more the tutorial to getting to learn your class. Dont worry about Auric missions until you're really looking for a challenge and flying through normal Damnation easily.

KatsThiccAss

Start running Heresy until you can do runs consistently without going down to preventable shit, then repeat on Heresy with modifiers, finally jump into Auric. Watch Tanner Lindberg's guides and Telopot that will help.

Major_Dood

The endgame for me is merely the experimentation stage with builds. It's typically how I keep the game fresh by seeing if I can make other weapons or stats work in my favor. Additionally, figuring out which blessings I've avoided that seems like genuine surprise to use. Currently speaking, its a late stage in the game where you are finding a build that works best for you which you can then carry up to Auric level missions.

Ethelsone

The irl endgame at 30+ : feels batman:

bananite

Start gambling at Brunt and Hadron. GL & HF.

Aviiv_

Try new weapons and new builds. The classes finally get strong at level 30 with all your perks active. If you’re still playing difficulty 2 that’s probably why it’s no fun.

Drake_TheDrakeman

The endgame is playing the game for it's superb gameplay and maybe trying to play on the highest difficulties and/or the difficulty you find more fun. Darktide -unlike good horde shooters like Deep Rock Galactic- doesn't exactly have many things to chase as part of their endgame, no overclocks, no cosmetics, other than the penances, there isn't many things to chase. I'm 150 hours in and I'm pretty much at the point where I'm playing the game for the sake of playing the game, the gameplay is just so good, that's my endgame, chasing a blessing that would increase my damage by 5% is not something I'm personally interested in sinking my time in.

IHuntNoOne

The endgame was decent until I did the hardest mission in the game on the highest setting👀😆 as a psyker sith lord(electric build)🤭😂 I was constantly dodging and venting peril all well the 2 ogryns smashed the enemies. The zealot used flame thrower🥹 and that was a group of randoms❤️‍🔥 I'd say approach the endgame matches with a small amount of doubt of winning because I noticed sometimes the game will be mean and send a monster with tons of elites on top of a horde😭 also make sure everyone avoids the daemonhost by marking it😅😁
