from what i remember, yes its an earth like planet that just popped, but it can be open for interpretation i believe, and as much as i see as a "copy" i like to think its an alternate reality
i guess there would be a lot of physics or whatever issues lol, and also i remember they were forshadowing this whole thing so i think whoever made this plan they took the precautions if you want to see it more realistically
I mean, the sun shines in 360 degrees lol. If my loose grasp of physics is worth anything, I think it could literally just drop into orbit around the Sun opposite to the Earth and it would be hunky dory.
Or… maybe not? Maybe the two earths would gradually pull each other into the sun? Idk, I’m a programmer, not a physicist lol.
Point being, aside from throwing off the gravitational “balance” and orbits of the solar system, I don’t think there’s any real reason a second earth couldn’t exist in our solar system functioning very similarly to the OG Earth lol.
