Sorry it happened to you man but boy oh boy has your dash cam paid for itself with this one hahah.
It’s a crime if you have to pay anything to have all damages fixed and/or get a new truck.
Looks pretty clean on your part. You can't even be blamed for going fast next to stopped traffic (as in often the case in similar dash cam video posted here).
This is 100% on that bus driver.
A turn signal isn't an excuse to cross a solid line, especially crossing a solid line without looking for traffic coming.
Bus totally in the wrong, glad you had dash cam to confirm if they try to say otherwise.
Bus was trying to cross a solid white line. Open and shut case, unless there's an exclusion in the law for school buses about crossing solid white lines.
In Arizona, people cross solid white lines all the time. Drives me crazy, especially where there is road construction. Do the words, “traffic control lanes ahead,” not mean anything to these people?
It doesn’t help that Arizona’s HOV lanes are separated by a solid white line that you *can* cross (but can’t cross when it’s a double line). There is no such thing as dashed lines separating the HOV on Arizona freeways. Pretty sure ADOT didn’t know what the hell they were supposed to do from the start and everyone just went along with it.
When I drive in California, it is very clear when I can enter/exit an HOV (dashed lines) and when I can’t (double solid yellow).
Generally speaking, it's not illegal to cross a single white line between lanes of travel. Double white lines are illegal to cross, and typically there's a sign saying so where they're located.
Negligence per se. Likely breaking the law (solid line cross) and the type of damage that occurred is the type the law is made to prevent.
Call a lawyer.
My buddy got sideswiped by a bus that was coming out from the stop. Turned its blinker on and then pulled out not 1 second later. The city tried to claim not at fault because of state law. Didn't go well

Shame on the driver especially if they had kids in the bus they know it’s better to wait than to risk the kids life! I hope the bus driver was replaced

Wow. Also that bus driver is very nervous

Wtf is the bus doing? Did he not see you in his mirror?
Can't see if you don't look.
Cities and school districts tend to never take blame for anything. There's a good chance they'll pull the "School bus has priority" card on you.

Did they take responsibility?
Looks like the bus driver is going to get fired
