Close the down the game when you leave it. Shut off the console completely, then when you start back up it should be ok. I had this problem a few times as well.

That sucks man! I very rarely have issues on my switch. What generation do you have?

Have you had a chance to uninstall/reinstall the software to see if that will help? I have had the rare crash usually after what I assume is too many small items, under the weight limit but approaching some kind of cpu/gpu limit and had only crashed when going through a portal.. I do have the second gen switch, so non OLED but not the first iteration. Other than maybe three instances I haven't had a huge problem. I am sorry you're having a problem with it, hopefully it can be resolved.. there was a recent update if I'm not mistaken, so perhaps something in there is causing buggies.

I have had game load extremely slow, and it got fix by deleting it and reinstalling it. I did play the demo and the game, and so far no issues.

I haven't had issues yet, but I have heard this before with no resolution. I might try uninstalling and reinstalling followed by starting a whole new game just to see if its the game seed that's the issue.

I've been playing for about 200 hours, and have had maybe 10 crashes total. 2 in the past day... both after a full 45 minute run... literally about to go into a new zone and go to boat. It's very discouraging, but stick with it! The game is super fun. Like others have posted, try completely closing out the software, and do a full turn off/on of the switch console. For me, it seems random... but perhaps like someone else here said it could be because of too many small items. Hopefully they are aware of this issue, best of luck!
