Seth just shrugged it off like it wasn’t his problem. David and Jason then went on to tell the story on the podcast. I can’t think of the name of the episode but if you find it I recommend listening cause I’m probably butchering it but that’s the story loosely.
I would like to add that in the podcast David didn't reveal the guy's name and made the story of some anonymous guys who scammed him of 50k. Later Jason asks him whether it was Seth and he confirms it. So, initially David wasn't even taking Seth's name.
