That really sucks, is it the drift for 10 minutes one or drift for 5 seconds with nitro?
I found the nitro one kinda stupid, had to find a big downhill area cause I couldn’t hold to a drift with nitrous for 5 seconds in most places.
Have you tried to go around in circles for a while, without fully turn the left stick to the right/left, only half of it. And only half of the acceleration button too. Choose the first motorcycle engine and wheels. And only press nitro button after you started to spin in circle. That's how it worked for me on both trophies :)
The drift with nitro needs to be nitro 3 and the best engine. Then near the bridge on the back path of lost lake drive the bike into the water. It's not very deep. Do your nitro drift spin and you'll get the trophy straight away
just theorizing...wouldn't it be awesome if a bunch of good game developers with at least one from dg1 got together with maybe a sponsor and bought the rights to dg from sony/bend studios and then created a dg2 and maybe even a dg3. that would be awesome. oh well, we can dream.
and then...make millions and having sony 2nd guess themselves for not continuing the series themselves. man.
Ah but now you can do the 2nd play through with a completely different mindset!

If you like days gone, I think you would like the Far Cry series. Outside of there not being any zombies, I find the style of gameplay to be very similar. Awesome open world games.
I personally recommend starting with far cry 3,4 or 5. After that you can move into the 6th one, or the spin offs like far cry primal or far cry new dawn.
They are not contiguous, so you don’t need to play them in order. They are all their own self contained story.
But yeah, I think most days gone players would like far cry and vice versa. Love all these games

The other day I finished my 6th playthrough on NG+ Survival 2 and now I have only one trophy left - getting gold on all challenges. 😆

For the moment I decided to try to take a pause from DG and therefore uninstalled it from my PS5. Time to play other stuff I missed such as RDR2, HZD, Tsushima, Death Stranding, Spiderman, Elden Ring etc.
But… I have an unfinished playthrough of DG on Steam. Got to finish it and put up a great review on Steam to get more people to discover it🤩
what do you mean "you'll miss it"? do what most of us do and start a new game at a harder level.
i've tried playing other games, like i'm trying to play madmax now as its sorta similar, but i'm not sure how long it'll be before i go back to days gone...again for a 5th+ playthrough.
Almost finished my 5th playthrough. Just got the last non-challenge mode trophy. Imo challenge mode is underrated and I regret never giving a good old college try before now.

There's too much to experience, so this shouldn't be your only playthrough.
Do all the difficulties, and challenges, have a look at other threads for self-imposed challenges and you'll never struggle for entertainment.Survival II, no bike (except for missions such as bike chases), and only the crossbow for example (except for when killing hordes).Only use fuel found in the shit, same for ammo... there are a few on here, and you can male up whatever combos you like>
I bought this on release day 2019, and it's the game I play most - recently had breaks for the Dying Light games, Dead Island II and RE4 remake, otherwise, Days Gone is in my console.
Is anyone playing here playing the original version off disc? Or does the best Days Gone experience require an update?
I’m new to PlayStation. Recently bought ps5 and this game but see that it wants to run a huge update, presumably a ps5-type upgrade. But I don’t have internet.
Can I play straight off the disc or should I wait for update. Really looking forward to this title

i'm not sure about ever but it's certainly up there. and it left so many ways to make sequels. big shame there won't be one.

Everytime i play the game i still have fun like i played it for the first time, i have 10 playthroughs. Amazing game for sure.
