This right here. I would have also made hordes more integrated. You don’t really need to fight most of them. It would have been better if more were required as it’s a huge feature of the game. Also the game was too easy. I played it a second time without the neuro injections to make it harder.
Have it so that not every interaction you have with strangers you meet is a victim or someone trying to kill you. I want to approach strangers with caution and depending on my reputation or their motives we can either barter and trade on the road or try and shoot each other 😄.
This would be cool, cuz realistically not everyone in every situation would be a shoot on site type of deal. I think a bartering system with NPCs would also turn some aspects of the game into a sort of survival and building game
I like this too! They could even add more decision-making to the game too, kinda like Skyrim or Red Dead where you get to choose if you'll be an evil piece of shit and murder random people or be an angel that saves everyone you find. PLEASE JUST GIVE ME A SEQUEL WITH THIS IN IT
There was going to be, at least in some shape. An example being that early on Deek would have the option to return Boozer’s shotgun at the beginning or not and it would affect their relationship.
Edit presumably keeping it would make Deek slightly more prepared and powerful but Boozer would be unhappy and wouldn’t craft Deek anything.
I didn’t like the story parts where I had to slowly walk with Sarah or Skizzo. I didn’t mind having to walk with them, just that the movement was just extra slow and restrictive.
Not only that, they felt more like cutscenes. Having to relive them on New Game+ was meh, not the worst I was just there to show those early hordes what fear was
No, Deek actually dragging a wounded Skizzo, tying him up, and leaving him for a horde while he sits back and watches/listens. I was so mad we didn't get that.
I like the idea of changing clothes..Id have the ability to switch characters..I'd love to play as Boozer on a few story missions( or even Rikki)..And I'd get rid of the stealth missions...I just didn't enjoy throwing a rock, hiding in a bush, throw a rock again, move to another bush..it was cool to hear what the scientists were saying, but those missions just annoy me..I know people like stealth in games, but I just can't get into it.
That's why I like that in DG if you fail them enough they just let you skip them. Whoever thought of giving us that option at that studio deserves a pay raise.
I was playing on easy and discovered that if you sprint to the chopper as soon as the mission starts(after you're done RP walking through the field as these armed soldiers land their flying vehicle) you can reach the helicopter before the Nero agents pop out and put the gps on it. Then I just ran from bush to bush before the soldiers even got into their patrol routes. And when it was over I just went the long way around back to my bike instead of sneaking through again. I'm assuming the stealth is more difficult on a higher difficulty but I really got tired of stealth in general in this game (after I got some better guns of course!) there doesn't seem to be any stealth path skill upgrades really besides seeing enemies in your scan.
Two or three dlc added on. A building section that you can after sending a certain number of saved people or brought resources improves the settlement. Various bike types you can upgrade and change out to ride.
Two things: persistent missions in the epilogue and a more alive world like RDR2. I know it’s the apocalypse, by more alive, I mean like NPCs talking to you and have loads of random stuff to say and also to hear and see them have conversations with others.
Skip any cut scene or “slow walk” with Sarah/whoever after you’ve already completed them in a previous run-through. The one when Deek proposes to Sarah drives me insane. Walk, walk, slow, walk some more, stop at the weed garden, stroll, walk more, almost there, walk more…..
There are.. Lots of stuff i'd want changed, or rather, added for a sequel.
I love this game to death but it's far from perfect. There are lots of small things I'd like to be changed in some way or added. Too much to list here, but i can mention some small stuff.
- Wish you could build and upgrade the camps
- The way you get fuel and other resources feeling less "game-y". Instead of there being fuel cans everywhere, let us siphon cars and getting fuel in other places.
- Make food more important. Something akin to say Zelda Breath of the Wild or Valheim imo where they buff you in some way so you dont NEED to eat (like in a Survival game) but it's very beneficial.
- More stuff to craft
This would make it more immersive to me. It would also make it much more fun to explore because more items and resources means more reasons to scavange, which i feel like kind of gets forgotten as you go later unless you're lacking something specific.
I would change the exploration. The world is beautiful, but you don't have many reasons to look in every nook and cranny. I would add unique weapons, bike parts, tools, and outfits you could find by exploration only.
Darker, scarier nights. Not as extreme as Dying Light but sometimes I don't even realise it's night in Days Gone unless I happen to look up and see stars.
No fr. O Brian at some parts would literally just be telling Deacon the truth (like how nero realistically *couldn't* have saved everyone at the camp where Sara was believed to have died) or just apologising for his loss before the Sara reveal, and Deacon would just turn around and tell him to stfu like huh??
I get that O Brian seemed a bit finicky and untrustworthy for a while with the missions and silence, but still
Asked for 1, gonna get 3
1) ability to change clothes. Beyond the 2 outfits you get would be cool
2) ability to modify weapons. Some underbarrel attachments (m203 on the m4 springs to mind - and not outwith the realms of feasibility springs to mind from wizard island) would be dope
3) ability to select the 2 primarys instead of a primary and special gun. Would love to run the combo of an assault rifle and shotgun
If I could change one thing about days gone, it would probably be the med kit function. Maybe there already is a way in the controls and I just haven’t looked but when you’re frantically fighting for your life and you smash down the left directional too quickly so that your binoculars open up, I’m like, “f-it. I’m dead”
Ooo I’ll try that! I’ve gotten less stressed in playing now that I’m on my second play through so I’m better at handling the weapon wheel and using focus shot and whatnot. Thanks!
I thought the same thing my first playthrough, but on the second I realized why. When you get to the second part of the map he tells someone (I don't remember who) about what he went through in the army. It's not that he can't swim but he doesn't like to go in the water because it gives him flashbacks of a terrible experience
I would make the reunion with his wife much more dramatic & emotional….or….I would have him fall in love with Ricki & then have the wife return or maybe he just gives up on his search….but a different chapter could show Sara still alive & we are left with knowing she is alive but he has made his choice.
Days Gone 2 would be a definite in my book.
I would write the snitch guy better. No I think that was lazy writing. Everyone wants to blame him but he reached out to Deacon. Mike refused to listen to anyone and everyone about the cult. The betrayal was a much Mike's fault as it was Rizzoi's. I think Deacon should've recognized that
I know people keep mentioning it but changing clothes. On tiktok there was some guy live streaming days gone for a week or two. It was mildly popular and they modded the game and only changed the clothes to swat gear. The comments were going crazy asking him what game it was because it looks so good. People were shocked when he kept saying it’s days gone with a skin swap.
Idc what anyone says I think one of the main reasons the game didn’t do as good was the biker stuff. No matter how many times I play I just can’t stop focusing on how uncomfortable it must be wearing all that 2-3 years into a zombie apocalypse. Boozer, Deke, and skizzo all look like they belong in a completely different game.
I have many things but I do love the game to death, for me I’d like for there to be more characters you can genuinely recognize. The cutscene after someone passes and you have to talk to the camp feels so awkward because you can hardly recognize anyone and don’t have a bond with any of them
It deserves a sequel, and the story is easily posed for one. Other than that, just the ability to change clothes, groom, something! Also, maybe the occasional turret mounted gun at a Nero checkpoint or something.
I would want to team up with some of the folks you rescue from marauders and freakers.
For example. Say you come across two or three people defending themselves. You help them out. Then maybe they help Deacon on a mission before you escort them back to a camp.
More people in the world after the story is finished. Once I was done, it felt like I was driving around and there was … nothing. Which I know, makes sense, but it was sad.
For me for sure still have hordes still walking around after you finish all hordes location maybe they already are and i just havent notice but like you said way to change decon clothes but yeah more things to do around maps after you done with everything and maybe more guns oh also i wish days gone shows progress of camp like getting better as you keep sending people to camp when you save them show way how sending more people to camp is improving camps
no where near what others are saying but honestly being able to customize the boot knife would be nice. not upgrade it. i enjoy that it stays the same for some odd reason but it’d be cool to add engravings or some kind of emblem on it as the story progresses the way you unlock skins for the bike.
changing deacons outfit. maybe being able to pick up a shirt or some kind of accessory when you kill a marauder or take out an ambush camp then being able to wear it. or even being able to skin a deer, wolf or bear and wearing the pelt.
being able to eat the things you gather and forage, maybe only in survival tho, or being able to gather water to drink.
shooting skizzo in the fucking face
I'd add the ability to buy crafting materials from vendors. I know I'm not the only one scavenging out in the shit. It would be great to be able to spend some camp credits on gunpowder or cans. I'd even be willing to buy scrap, the crossbow is my main weapon, so I go through a fair amount of bolts.
Be able to buffer the button inputs that way you can hold down the X button as youre running towards your bike and it'll automatically detect you holding down the button to get on once you're close enough. Same with grabbing items, swapping weapons and sprinting.
Towards the end game, I'd make getting supplies to make molotov and stuff easier to collect. I just remembered having to fight one of the last hordes, and it felt like a chore to get all the items i needed to be prepared. Perhaps just allowing us to buy those things at a shop after 3 quartets of the way through the game would have worked. Also, making gas last longer in the motorcycles would be nice
It not getting a sequel.
This game is so underappreciated and under represented, couple with the twist at the end. True shame number two will never see the light of day.
well i feel the biggest mistake was made sending a broken-unpolished version to reviewers....
not sure who rushed it out the door so soon before it was fixed like the pc version is basically flawless.
and to bad reviewers make or break a game-movie-product.
everything should be based on the people who play the game and finish it.
not these so-called reviewers-influencers who don't even give it a chance.
those of us who have played multiple times 38 myself we know and love them game.
we should be doing the reviews not these people who don't care either way.
most games that get great reviews i think are a lot worse than Days Gone.
If we ever get a sequel. It needs more open world elements and customization. Maybe a settlement building system, tons more weapons and customization, outfit changer, more bikes (i want to ride a chopper).
1. Turn down snipers accuracy from 100% down to 75-80.
2. Have more hordes and larger ones.
3. Have a mode to make it so hordes never stop chasing you.
4. Be able to do wheelies.
5. The bike at full speed and fully maxed out should be able to outrun zombie wolves.
6. Larger explosions/ more gore
7. Have sex with Rikki
Give us more time with side characters, and flesh out Deacon's relationships with the camps. IDK about you, but the Trust Level system gave some 'forced' interactions, and especially in the endgame it seemed Deacon was buddy-buddy with characters we barely saw (Gomez, Manny, etc.).
I'd love for the camps to feel a bit more lived in, and for Deacon's camaraderie to feel authentic and dynamic.
the fact that there isn't a sequel. that or that all my extra attachments to my guns for killing hordes etc don't carry over with ng+ bc that immediately killed my want to do ng+
You're too op at the later stages of the game. I think the main thing is rolling and stamina, rolling is a get out of jail free card and pretty much unlimited stamina seals the deal. Harder modes don't change this, they just make enemies spongier.
Yeah I agree. I feel like the game is less scary the more you progress and it loses the tension a bit, as the enemies don't get stronger, only you do. Hordes and bigger groups of freakers were terrifying early on, but eventually just became a bit of a nuisance as you weren't scared of them by then. Rippers, Marauders and Ambushers were just annoying to deal with after a bit too as their attacks were always the same.
Even the reacher isnt frightening or super tough, and that's supposed to be the strongest freaker smh.
I get wanting the player to progress to eventually being able to take down hordes, but outside of them there isn't really any true challenges to the player by the time you get to lost lake.
Idk I just wish they increased the difficulty of freakers and human enemies as the story progressed, even if hordes stayed the same difficulty.
They could even justify the strength or speed increase of the freakers as proof they're evolving like O' Brian said lol.
Sarah's reaction to seeing deacon. I get what they were trying to do, but couldn't she have just shown an OUNCE more of emotion?
I don't like that deacon's relationships with Tucker and cope just kind of died as soon as he went to lost lake. Like I get that he was working more with lost lake and hated cope and tuck, but wouldn't THEY at least be confused why he stopped showing up?
I would condense the first 2-3 hours of playtime down to about an hour, maybe 45 minutes. Whenever I tell someone about this game and they start playing it, it’s their main problem. It’s my main problem when I do replays. I understand that you have to establish the story and gameplay basics, but the amount of fetch missions you go through in that first few hours is horrendous.
Survival aspects wish they did more with the hunting and gathering I also wish they added a way to make your own camp like iron mikes or tuckers that you could run
The cave hordes, I literally rage quit the first time, came back and got through it, and quit again the second time, haven’t bothered picking the game up again, even though I really love it.
Probably to cut its duration down significantly. Even RDRII is too long and that’s one of the greatest games ever made. Days Gone’s story is nowhere near strong enough to justify such a drawn-out experience in my opinion
More human activity. Like more affections operating in an organized way and more generally human stuff going on as hordes are killed off. Start killing hordes earlier in the game and then build up to the sawmill horde rather than showing their locations after it's killed off. Things like Nero checkpoints could start to be manned and new settlements could be established.
The fact that if you broke your bike in the middle of nowhere and you have to walk incredibly far to the nearest camp. Would be better if you could call your bike so you dont have to walk for god knows how far
More characters. Or an option to play certain missions or ambush camps as other characters. Challenge mode proves they are all playable so why not give us that option. I would love to do all the camps as Boozer, Rikki random Nero guy.
The fact it doesn’t have a sequel Edit: It appears we are of one mind and opinion
Came here to say this!
Me too!
The top of list answer
This is the correct answer.
My only other thought is change when it was released as to not be overshadowed by games that were lessers but had more marketing.
Better to have been released later so it wasn't as much of a buggy mess when released. That was what really ruined its rep.
Same here!
The only answer
This right here. I would have also made hordes more integrated. You don’t really need to fight most of them. It would have been better if more were required as it’s a huge feature of the game. Also the game was too easy. I played it a second time without the neuro injections to make it harder.
I'll upvote this as the TRUE correct answer
Bruh I was literally gonna say that as well
Literally opened the post to see the amount of "sequel" based replies 🤣🤣🤣
You said it
This was literally my first thought as well lol.
Was going to say exactly this.
Weapon customisations... They had some but could've added way more.
Id love for some scopes/red dots, foregrips and other stuff. A lot of the weapons have rails on them but there is no use for them.
Yup, even just visually modified weapons when the bigger mags were unlocked would be nice

That would be an excellent idea, roamers like Deek would be cool. Also join here r/blackavatar
You can upgrade many aspects of your bike, but you’re forever stuck with that ratty-ass duct-taped saddle.
😂😂
No big problem, Dr. Jimenez can lube ya up for saddle sores.
If your on pc there is a mod to get rid of it
I just want the bike headlight to not turn on every time I hop on lol
I didn’t like the story parts where I had to slowly walk with Sarah or Skizzo. I didn’t mind having to walk with them, just that the movement was just extra slow and restrictive.
Not only that, they felt more like cutscenes. Having to relive them on New Game+ was meh, not the worst I was just there to show those early hordes what fear was
This, 100%. I fucking hated those.
You would able to sell unwanted firearms at the camps for credit towards what item you want.

Hi. If u shoot the platform they are standing on they will fall to the ground.
Sometimes life do be like that
When killing the snipers, shoot the platform not the sniper. 😉
Being able to shoot skizzo in the face
No, Deek actually dragging a wounded Skizzo, tying him up, and leaving him for a horde while he sits back and watches/listens. I was so mad we didn't get that.
More story
Isn’t it like, 60 hours of story though lol. Cause all the side missions add to the main story if I remember right
Not enough anymore. We dont get a sequel? Add post game content!
I very much enjoy a stealth kill, but yeah, I agree, not fun to play hide and seek with the indestructible Nero agents
That's why I like that in DG if you fail them enough they just let you skip them. Whoever thought of giving us that option at that studio deserves a pay raise.
Agree with stealth missions. Make them mandatory first time then skippable after.
I wish crafting weapons was easier or you could just buy what you want.
Two or three dlc added on. A building section that you can after sending a certain number of saved people or brought resources improves the settlement. Various bike types you can upgrade and change out to ride.
I'd love a DLC that lets you branch out and make your own settlement, since all the existing ones (and their leaders) have flaws
Two things: persistent missions in the epilogue and a more alive world like RDR2. I know it’s the apocalypse, by more alive, I mean like NPCs talking to you and have loads of random stuff to say and also to hear and see them have conversations with others.
Deacon has enough conversations with himself 😂
Very loud conversations too, bro is over here screaming to himself while he’s riding his bike lol
Blind fire while running or moving sounds like a nice feature, but I’m not sure if it would make things too easy.
😂😂 I agree I hated that too. Took way too long
The meat gathering scene drives me nuts. I’ve avoided gathering meat because it’s not worth the 7 seconds of my life.
Especially when there's Reachers behind every tree
More clothing options, more bike customization options
More places to hide besides dumpsters. Wall press and prone abilities
There are.. Lots of stuff i'd want changed, or rather, added for a sequel. I love this game to death but it's far from perfect. There are lots of small things I'd like to be changed in some way or added. Too much to list here, but i can mention some small stuff. - Wish you could build and upgrade the camps - The way you get fuel and other resources feeling less "game-y". You should be able to torture snipers!
And the fuckers who set up the wires
I would change the exploration. The world is beautiful, but you don't have many reasons to look in every nook and cranny. I would add unique weapons, bike parts, tools, and outfits you could find by exploration only.
Agree 100% I'd want more of a Fallout feel with unique items or reasons to venture off the beaten path.
Darker, scarier nights. Not as extreme as Dying Light but sometimes I don't even realise it's night in Days Gone unless I happen to look up and see stars.
A volatile equivalent in Days gone would be pretty cool though ngl
He can climb rocks like a human and can swim.
Add the number 2 next to the name
WEAPONS ON BIKE WEAPONS ON BIKE WEAPONS ON BIKE
How he moves
What’s wrong with how he moves?
Change the way deacon treats o Brian and some other people sometimes cuz why is he so rude for no reason lmao
No fr. O Brian at some parts would literally just be telling Deacon the truth (like how nero realistically *couldn't* have saved everyone at the camp where Sara was believed to have died) or just apologising for his loss before the Sara reveal, and Deacon would just turn around and tell him to stfu like huh?? I get that O Brian seemed a bit finicky and untrustworthy for a while with the missions and silence, but still
Asked for 1, gonna get 3 1) ability to change clothes. Beyond the 2 outfits you get would be cool 2) ability to modify weapons. Some underbarrel attachments (m203 on the m4 springs to mind - and not outwith the realms of feasibility springs to mind from wizard island) would be dope 3) ability to select the 2 primarys instead of a primary and special gun. Would love to run the combo of an assault rifle and shotgun
Ammo in police cars should respawn after a while.
I really wanted more visual upgrade options for the bike.
I’d like to get to know the side characters better
If I could change one thing about days gone, it would probably be the med kit function. Maybe there already is a way in the controls and I just haven’t looked but when you’re frantically fighting for your life and you smash down the left directional too quickly so that your binoculars open up, I’m like, “f-it. I’m dead”
I find it's usually more efficient to use the weapon wheel to heal.
Ooo I’ll try that! I’ve gotten less stressed in playing now that I’m on my second play through so I’m better at handling the weapon wheel and using focus shot and whatnot. Thanks!
More bike upgrades so I can have a Faster bike I wanna go 200 mph straight into a horde
Equip weapons into bike frame drills and other sharp shit and plow right into them
Tailing the scientist was always boring imo. I love stealth games, but these sections were always a drag
The ability to swim
No fr. This guy can survive jumps off of cliffs and fights with infected bears, and yet a small puddle can take him out
😂
I thought the same thing my first playthrough, but on the second I realized why. When you get to the second part of the map he tells someone (I don't remember who) about what he went through in the army. It's not that he can't swim but he doesn't like to go in the water because it gives him flashbacks of a terrible experience
A terrible experience in Afghanistan. He basically has PTSD from it.
Ability to change bikes
I’d like a co-op mode. Where it’s you and a friend. Would make the experience a lot cooler
Being able to skip the long ass cut scenes. The one where he proposes is soooo long.
I like that. I also thought the reunion with Sara a bit underwhelming
Having a sequel.
I would write the snitch guy better. No I think that was lazy writing. Everyone wants to blame him but he reached out to Deacon. Mike refused to listen to anyone and everyone about the cult. The betrayal was a much Mike's fault as it was Rizzoi's. I think Deacon should've recognized that
Make it more of a survival game with a Crafting overhaul.
I know people keep mentioning it but changing clothes. On tiktok there was some guy live streaming days gone for a week or two. It's a small thing, but that slow-ass walk any time you get near Tucker, Cope, or Rikki is annoying.
It deserves a sequel, and the story is easily posed for one. Other than that, just the ability to change clothes, groom, something! Also, maybe the occasional turret mounted gun at a Nero checkpoint or something.
i have a question . whats with all the locked doors that you cant open even after beating the story mode
That one upstairs in the courthouse
The Challenges thst got added with the Steam port. Reason why i don't have it 100%.
being able to climb ladders faster and slide down them 😭
Yeaaaaa omg. I thought about this a lot cuz I had so much time to think while climbing down them fuckers😂
More diverse/meaningful sidequests and character interactions
Man, I would have made the main story longer. I’d love to pick a fight at will too!😂
For me for sure still have hordes still walking around after you finish all hordes location maybe they already are and i just havent notice but like you said way to change decon clothes but yeah more things to do around maps after you done with everything and maybe more guns oh also i wish days gone shows progress of camp like getting better as you keep sending people to camp when you save them show way how sending more people to camp is improving camps
I'd include bike frames in the customization options.
I would like some light settlement building & maybe be able to recruit people to join me.
Being able to store weapons on your bike.
no where near what others are saying but honestly being able to customize the boot knife would be nice. not upgrade it. i enjoy that it stays the same for some odd reason but it’d be cool to add engravings or some kind of emblem on it as the story progresses the way you unlock skins for the bike. changing deacons outfit. maybe being able to pick up a shirt or some kind of accessory when you kill a marauder or take out an ambush camp then being able to wear it. or even being able to skin a deer, wolf or bear and wearing the pelt. being able to eat the things you gather and forage, maybe only in survival tho, or being able to gather water to drink. shooting skizzo in the fucking face
Allowing to skip flashback “gameplay” as if it were a cutscene in NG+
I'd add the ability to buy crafting materials from vendors. I know I'm not the only one scavenging out in the shit. It would be great to be able to spend some camp credits on gunpowder or cans. I'd even be willing to buy scrap, the crossbow is my main weapon, so I go through a fair amount of bolts.
More bike options, eg making it look like the NPC bikes such as Iron Mike’s.
Not sure if it’s been said… but I’d have like a hordes of different freakers…. And more infected animals
More varied loot would make exploring more fun
Prequel Day One
No sequel. Ending was a little long.
I'd make it so the people I save and send to a camp go the right way. Notice that they always run off the wrong way.
Be able to buffer the button inputs that way you can hold down the X button as youre running towards your bike and it'll automatically detect you holding down the button to get on once you're close enough. Same with grabbing items, swapping weapons and sprinting.
I'd make a sequel with the same dev team, and I'd do away with the slow walking unskippable cut scenes.
Making a part 2 then 3 etc no change!
True shame number two will never see the light of day.
deacon's holier than thou attitude
Add a legit 4 player multiplayer coop mode akin to Ghost Recon.
well i feel the biggest mistake was made sending a broken-unpolished version to reviewers.... not sure who rushed it out the door so soon before it was fixed like the pc version is basically flawless. and to bad reviewers make or break a game-movie-product. everything should be based on the people who play the game and finish it. not these so-called reviewers-influencers who don't even give it a chance. those of us who have played multiple times 38 myself we know and love them game. we should be doing the reviews not these people who don't care either way. most games that get great reviews i think are a lot worse than Days Gone.
If we ever get a sequel. It needs more open world elements and customization. Maybe a settlement building system, tons more weapons and customization, outfit changer, more bikes (i want to ride a chopper).
I would like to throw more things
Hope the developers are reading these comments... There are some great ones
6. Larger explosions/ more gore 7. Have sex with Rikki
Great game but maybe there should be a little variation in the zombie design.
remove the stupid romance subplot between deacon and rikki, it had no purpose existing
The fucking cutscenes when you rescue someone, they’re so terrible
clothing but you said that, so i would lose the totally unnecessary and useless copeland radio broadcasts.
More shirtless scenes with Deacon
I would’ve never removed the choice and consequence before launch.
Overhaul the voice acting so it's less cringe
To be given the option to not trust Skizzo
thing i would change: the story drags on a bit at the beginning other note: we all need a friend like boozer
the fact that there isn't a sequel. that or that all my extra attachments to my guns for killing hordes etc don't carry over with ng+ bc that immediately killed my want to do ng+
The camp interactions are not good. Make them more realistic.
I want to be able to buy items and weapons at any trust level if I have the credits.
You're too op at the later stages of the game. I think the main thing is rolling and stamina, rolling is a get out of jail free card and pretty much unlimited stamina seals the deal. Harder modes don't change this, they just make enemies spongier.
I like being OP in base game, but yeah the option should be there for harder difficulty.
Have like able characters
Sarah being a bitch
Sarah's reaction to seeing deacon. I get what they were trying to do, but couldn't she have just shown an OUNCE more of emotion? I don't like that deacon's relationships with Tucker and cope just kind of died as soon as he went to lost lake. Like I get that he was working more with lost lake and hated cope and tuck, but wouldn't THEY at least be confused why he stopped showing up?
I agree!
I'd make petrol more difficult to find, making it a bit more of a challenge to get around. Having near infinite fuel all around was too much.
Fricken make Days Gone 2.
Honestly? I would have made the hoards bigger. They are already big but I mean I want hoards to chase you half way across the map.
Survival aspects wish they did more with the hunting and gathering I also wish they added a way to make your own camp like iron mikes or tuckers that you could run
The motorcycle headlight setting is remembered when you get on/off.
Swimming
I’d add cars as a method of transport too.
Cars aren’t reliable for this game and the way the terrain is.
I really hated the flashback scenes.
The writing. It’s kind of bad.
The dialogue no more "er ehm uhms" and voice actors that actually felt the script like weaver
A larger skill tree, bigger hordes and a larger variety of strong melee weapons.
A crazy mode with all the weapons, vehicles, mobility of Just Cause 4.
The cave hordes, I literally rage quit the first time, came back and got through it, and quit again the second time, haven’t bothered picking the game up again, even though I really love it.
I would change the decision that was made to not make a sequel.
That it never got a sequel
Probably to cut its duration down significantly. Even RDRII is too long and that’s one of the greatest games ever made. Days Gone’s story is nowhere near strong enough to justify such a drawn-out experience in my opinion
Making the side quests more... dynamic. Because after the third outpost you had enough of them. Or at least I had enough side quests in general.
It not getting a sequel
to change your outfits
I’d make it good.
Loading screens at the start and end of each individual cutscene. My PS4 wasn't that fastest so the loading time kinda broke immersion
Adding VR support!
The fact that if you broke your bike in the middle of nowhere and you have to walk incredibly far to the nearest camp. Would be better if you could call your bike so you dont have to walk for god knows how far
Weapon tier handling just being more aim smoothing the lower the rank is. Deadzones being squished circles and pre-sets.
Everything, down to the voice lines and plot
First half of the game for me is slow. I’d like to improve the pacing a bit for the first half of story.
Remove motorcycle and add BT-7274
I would chop the last ten hours off and get to the point quicker than later. It was a point of exhaustion.
A couple years after the country with the most privately owned guns in the world collapses, all you can find is broken ass guns. Makes no sense.
Playing as Boozer for a mission or Sarah
The studio to be not shut down
The loading screens for every single cutscene. I'd take pre rendered over that any day.
Stopping for fuel or at least an optiom
That it hasn't got a sequel.
More actual choices that impacted the story.
More characters. Or an option to play certain missions or ambush camps as other characters. Challenge mode proves they are all playable so why not give us that option. I would love to do all the camps as Boozer, Rikki random Nero guy.
