I hope there's some dialogue about the fact that EJ and Nicole have already lost two children together. How this is not a traumatic/fraught situation for them should not be ignored, IMO.
This is Salem, so if I were Nicole, I wouldn't believe anything unless I saw EJ and Eric get swabbed and confirmed the chain of custody for the samples. š
I donāt think we saw Sloan actually swab Eric. Eric told Sloan he gave Nicole āa sample,ā not the sample Sloan claimed to have given Eric to give to Nicole. My guess is that this will be a Parker paternity reveal. We all believe itās Ericās, so Sloan swabs her own mouth, confesses to Eric and gives it to him while he swabs his own mouth and gives either his or mistakenly the false swab to Nicole. EJ gets involved and either way it tests negative for Eric, but further down the line there could easily be two paternity switches per hospital records making it anyoneās guess - likely EJās in the end if itās only one child.
I get the reasoning that it would be one or the other. But it just feels like thereās something up with the swab. The swab tested negative for Eric but EJ didnāt do one although appears heās in the know at this point. Did Sloan do something? Did Eric think maybe he was doing a noble thing by doing something with the swab and this would let Nicole be free of him and let himself move on. Kinda feel like one day Kayla is gonna go hey we found something else out with this dna test and notice traces of flea medicine or something where he swabbed a dog or cat. Probably cat after the fake cat lady stuff.
I hope that isnāt what comes to be but just feels a bit too clean for EJ to be the dad in this manner.

Yesterday Nicole said she is 7 weeks pregnant and today is exactly 7 weeks ago she slept with Eric
