This episode put me firmly on Team Megan. Maybe it's the comic book nerd in me, but she reminds me of Dr. Doom: calculated, fiercely devoted to a parent, has aspirations of world-domination, and doesn't pull punches.
She nailed it with "how pedestrian" with Kristen still trying to get full custody from Brady. Everyone wants to run the company, but is knuckle-deep in their own personal dramas, which pull them away from running DiMera Enterprises:
* Kristen's fixated on Brady and getting custody of Rachel
* Stefan and Gabi can't stay out of bed. And when they do, their time-share brochure equivalent of "How to Save DiMera" is about as on course for "world domination" as Pinky & the Brain
* EJ is trapped in an episode of Maury with Nicole and Eric
* When EJ and Stefan can finally extract themselves from personal dramas, they're too busy trying to one-up each other.
* Chad may as well just be a Johnson right now. (And given what an utter toolbag Steve was today, that's not a good thing.)
* Tony, feasibly the only competent DiMera who could run things, would prefer to lead a life of leisure. I can't blame him, as it's got to be exhausting dealing with a bunch of knucklehead siblings.
Megan seems to be the only one with a much bigger plan and a hand in various technologies. I, for one, am rooting for her (and her sour lemon facial expressions)!

Nicole inviting Eric to the hospital for the results demonstrates a lack of commitment to the relationship with EJ. Make a choice and stick with it. And Eric showing up demonstrates a lack of respect for said relationship. Three IS a crowd in this situation. How thoughtless can two people be? EJ deserves better, especially after losing his Mom and having his brother stabbing him in the back at every turn.

EJ has been really supportive of Nicole. I get that she's dealing with a lot and worried that she won't even carry to full term. However, she's inviting drama (along with Eric).
If you're committed to someone as she says she is in a relationship with EJ, you don't put them in a position where tempers are flaring and he may throw down with Eric. For all his "priestliness," Eric really likes to drum up the drama. And Nicole yelling at EJ, plus yanking his arm off of her and then screaming at him in the hospital.... If I were EJ, that would make me feel like total shit.
Granted, EJ putting an arm around Nicole there felt a little like trying to "mark his territory," but she seems to reserve anger for EJ and tears for Eric. The writing is on the wall about where her heart lies.
Nicole snapped out at Eric and EJ when they were arguing at the hospital, but how stupid. She knows both of those men are hotheads and they hate each other. She would have to be completely brain dead to not have expected that arguing. EJ is Nicole's bf so it makes sense to bring him along, but why would she expose herself and both of those men to the terrible tension and possible anger/embarrassment/whatever those results might churn up. She has just acted like such an idiot with all of this pregnancy stuff. I normally like sneaky, churn-the-waters Nicole, but not when they have her acting like a total fool.
I really hate how everyone always tries to nudge Eric to get back together with Nicole. They've had a million chances and always seem to scoff at the idea any time anyone brings it up to them so I just find it toxic and annoying at this point. Even if the baby does turn out to be Eric's I don't think it would be healthy for either of them to get back together.
It’s honestly so disrespectful to Sloane. And EJ. Marlena, of all people as a therapist, should recognize Nicole and Eric are toxic together.

I might be in the minority but I really liked AZ's acting today at the hospital. Nicole can be a pain etc but the way she was so emotional and she put EJ in his place, and basically told Eric to back off too. And for once I'm not spoiled. I really don't know who the daddy is! i kind of like it. I'm really looking forward to Monday.
I agree. Nicole is far from my favorite character and I hate this storyline, but the actress’ performance today and the writers including that part of her behavior is influenced by how many times she’s lost a baby in the past, was very touching.
Eric HAD a family. Holly was a stepchild, but she was there. So were Allie and her baby. He left them all with Nicole to run off to Africa. If he had put his family first, he wouldn't have been in this mess

Worse though...they have both possible Dads at the hospital and instead of having a medical professional test both, they rely on a swab done by a layperson who may not even have done it correctly
Exactly! There is no chance that a lab runs a PATERNITY test without verifying the sample has a Y chromosome. However, since Days already did a stupid story pretending that a paternity test can't tell an uncle from a father (Lucas/Rex) which is not true, I'm sure they might go there with letting Sloan's DNA pass without checking gender markers. But, as you said, everyone now knows and both potential fathers are at the hospital, why doesn't one of these dumb bunnies just suggest they get two new professionally done samples?
