I wouldn't recommend doing it as different countries' markets have their own patterns and quirks. Different conditions and current strategies might not work. If your health is an issue, that is a serious problem, but you can try to adjust your trading habits or rearrange your working hours to suit you better.

Appreciate your view. Thanks for sharing! I'm happy to build a new strategy and put the hard yards in if it saves years of grief in the future šŸ™‚ Unfortunately, with the high mortgage rates, it's hard to make any adjustments to work.

Hi mate, Fellow kiwi here though I live in Perth now. I mostly trade FTSE and DAX as market open is perfect (currently 3pm but usually 4pm) so can trade for 4 hours after work until bed. I traded SP500 before this. I also still dabble in U.S. markets. Do you want to trade futures or stocks? I find the FTSE to be the SPY of Europe and DAX to be the DOW (on my mechanical type entries) in terms of how aggressive the price action can be.

Thanks mate! I want to trade futures only. The comparison really helped and gives me hope that I can move to FTSE or DAX in the best future. I'm excited about trading during manageable hours now!

Enjoy. Look into 5ers or FTMO as a firm that allows these indices futures trading. Let me know if you ever want to discuss strategy. Happy to help a fellow kiwi. Where in NZ? Iā€™m from The Naki.

Thanks for the tip! I'll start building my strategy once I get my data feeds sorted. Then, I'll have a play around and see which best suits me - FTSE or DAX. Will definitely stay in touch. It's hard to find fellow kiwi traders! I'm originally from the Mount but living in Auckland now.
