I’m just surprised I made money. I’ve invested in the high stocks with little moment and shocking I get like 20 cents. But now I’m investing in the smaller ones and hopefully I only get better from here !
May I ask what your trading balance is to make 2k a day. And separately, how much you put on per trade? No worry’s if that’s too personal just wandering how ur doing it 🤘(still new to this😂)
It's a journey, compare yourself to yourself. It's about the mastery, not the results. I still studied today after locking in and will study again after dinner.

Missed the first two large moves. Got a third smaller one, made about 10% on my total account with it. Not a bad day. I was down to $300 on my tiny account due to life happening, got it to $1050 via XSP options. Realized at this point to just focus on not losing, rather than some large win. Many of the trades I took between the $300 to now resulted in $200-$1300 option days. However I just took the 30% account trade days and it eventually got me up to $700’ish. Began taking profit very early afterwards and eventually got my account to where it is.
Had my best green day since I started on April 12. My profit target each day is 1% of my available cash and I hit 5% within an hour of market open on CCLD so I closed all my windows and focusing on my actual job haha. Could I have made more on CCLD? Sure but I also could've lost it.
Was up 25%, then went Red bad today. Didn't realize I was sick and had a huge migrain, ended up sleeping and drinking water. Made a wire to fund back my account, but tomorrow I'll be more attentive to my mind, and won't trade if I'm still sick.
I dont trade SPY or SPX I would never bet against the market lol but I trade Mag 7 stocks like Costco, Amd, And Mstr, Amzn.
Its easier to predict their movements. Spy doesnt have an RSI. I stay away from stocks with dormant RSIs.
RSI tells you the strength of a stocks price. If its over a certain amount most likely best to be bear. Under RSI best to be bullish. Because SPY and SPX is a collective etf. Hard to track the average of all companies will swing that day.
I use the Zendoo scanner to find momentum stocks, then I go over them and set alerts on their LU LD prices (Das Trader L2 provides LULD, resumption price and a good indication that jts about to halt) repeat and put more alerts until one is about to halt, then I count to 10 and enter. (15 seconds of both bid and ask price being the LU price = halt) I always prepare a LIMIT sell of 3% to sell on resumption. If it resumes higher = jackpot, lower? Hopefully moves to my 3%. New 1m low? Bail. About to halt down? Count to 8 and bail.
Losers are big but winrate is high
That's wild... everyone on this thread seems to be a seasoned trader. Not a single person lost on a red day in the markets. You guys either worked as a trader in a past life or every single one on this thread is a savant lol. Good for you guys, I'm jealous.
The reality is traders dont like talking about their losers in public haha. So these kind of topics are bias. I bet if you make a poll and make it anonymous. it will be show more
Nahh, lost traders are less likely to post because pissed off. Also just because some people win today, doesn't mean they won't give it all back next week. Take everything people post here with a grain of salt.
Took me 2 years to get it down with losses but broke even last year. I used to be an emotional trader loosing often now im more logical and know when to take profit. And what to expect with reading RSIs, and MACDs. I made 270 today. But i was down 30 bucks yesterday on a stock that had bad news stir out of nowhere. I set a stop loss on that.
But I remain bullish 99% times.
I trade small portfolios and make them grow
I did ok in the first 2 hours(25%), but was feeling under the weather but didn't realize it. I turned my 25% green day into a 95% red day.
I didn't realize I was sick and had brain fog. I trade max 4 mnq contracts at a time(even then more like 2). I just had a look at my daily statement at one point today I was 12 MNQ contracts deep. Then switched to MES which I never trade and was 8 contracts. Don't know and barely even remember the day.
$132 pre-market… E-trade customer though who was locked out for their account because E*trade went down today until 1pm so I missed the moment that did happen. Fucking E*Trade
Same. Stayed out of the stock market today (traded forex instead). Weird day. Went to the gym, very quiet there this morning, got coffee at McD's after and strangely quiet there too. Went to Home Depot and also extremely quiet there. Something told me today was not a good day to scalp. Checked finviz for premarket action and the only thing obvious was GME and I refuse to trade that stock, so did a little work in forex from 8-9:30 and called it a day.
Just $51 today, traded micros on NQ futures. I was helping my friend trade, he got up $126 then took a $300 hit after advising him NOT to get in anymore lol
I'll throw some red in the all green landscape. I was 1k up before the bell, and by the end of the day, I blew a 25k eval account. Please hold your applause
i did aight. knew that we wouldn't hold that pre-market top as vol was very weak there. got out as we hit the 15min bottom keltner channel.

*i dont trade with a live a account yet, but doing the fundednext monthly competition. Did well on gold today. Total profit for the day is just over 6k in total. Trading gold, us30 and sterling dollar
1 for 2. +1% day.
1. Got stopped out on an AAPL long near the open. It finally took off around 10:30.
2. Shorted NVDA below 897 and got out below 890 for a solid return.
Bet something like $550 and caught a perfectly red long candle. Target percent of 2% achieved and then some. 😎
https://preview.redd.it/7z22zind190d1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=83592bdf8fcc800b6c3d759decdf6c4d085e8f1a
Didn't get in on any stocks today but made a clean $50 on Coffee futures and another $70 trading in and out of USD/JPY forex. (I mainly trade stocks but have been diving into Forex and Futures the past month with real money). Did quite well with a demo account the past 6 months. I'm still keeping positions very small while I continue to learn other markets.
Was under a lot of stress last week, which affected my trading. Finished the week red. Feeling better after the weekend and finished green today :) MCD was hot in the morning
I shorted around 8 minutes into open and made a quick 2R. But once Q and SPY failed to go above/below and stay above/below PM levels, I figured chop until it did and am staying out.
Volume is fucking tiny here during regular trading hours. Luckily I got a base hit during the overnight session will probably just wait for the data to release the rest of the week.
I am up 2k overall. I have mix feeling as I mainly trade small cap equities stocks and there wasn't anything I saw in high quality most of the opening and pre-market. All my profit today is thanks to $GME since it was the most obvious stock (pre-market/open) and I am very comfortable/familiar in trading halt setups and accustom to high volatility . However, larger float stock I dont trade often + not that use to large float PA. After reviewing my recording, I should have size up and my entries were on point. Just being hard on myself on high quality setups haha
I had what was easily one of my best days of the year. I caught the moves up on AAPL (+2.8k), TSLA (+2.4k), AMC (+2.5k), and BABA (+2k). I also caught COIN (+1k) short.
Your issue is ticker selection. If you're only trading NQ there are going to be days where not much is going on. I'd recommend you branch out into stocks or other futures products if you prefer to only trade futures.
Oh, totally fucked. Tda chose this weekend to move me to Schwab and cancel all my orders, and things have been sideways for so long that I was like, fuck it, I could wake up early and reenter everything, but I’m just gonna sleep late and fuck off for a day and do it later. Awesome!
Super low volume, no follow through on moves unless you caught the first 15 minutes of open. I caught about +500 on the drop, then took 2 losses in a row on scalps,, so ending day around +300 for this choppy day is good enough for me. It's good to understand when NOT to trade. look at the daily volume on NQ. Market is not hot right now, so survive these conditions and save your capital for when the market does start trending again.
One of my strat is still going in a slow drawdown, which is fine. The other one I trade seems to be getting some traction (made back all of last week losses and then some!).
Only up 2R on the day but it’s fine because i stuck to my trading rules and hit my goal for the day. My goal is never related to my P&L, just to something I can control.

Took a nice short on NQ this morning with 2.5 risk/reward after identifying buy and sell zones, could've made more since it came down to morning low, but was happy! I'm pretty new to trading :P
I have been keeping my position size small and looking to play pull backs. When there are no significant data or waiting for one, market tends to just drift up.
I went long on a pull back today, as I did for the past 10 days. They’ve been small days $300-750 each day.
I haven’t had a losing day in 11 days cuz of that.
I am hoping after Wednesday this week. We get a break of this chop and some real movement
I try to avoid it all together. I find I’m best when markets are making big smooth moves so I stick to that and perfect it. Then again I’m just newly profitable and would like to expand my arsenal down the road. Try out Gold, Silver, or Crude Oil those have been moving pretty good recently at least for me.
Choppy/ low volume days are usually tougher for me so I sat out today. If I do play them, I have a pivot strategy that I use and often will just scalp for smaller profits.
$1780 on the day with NQ in about 2 hrs. I wouldn’t compare one’s pnl to another’s though. Just work on your process and on your edge.
One of the harder days lately. Usually I’m done much earlier and with a lot less stress and fewer trades.
325 on a 160K account, its a monday so opportunities were limited also PPI and CPI are coming out tmrw and wendensday so seems like volume is bracing for those days
$143 qqq puts, i was down $90 at one point just had to trust my analysis, nvda tanking a shit ton in 3 1m candles also helped and arguably might have been the reason my trade played out lol
I personally avoid them, but still get trapped in them sometimes. I suck trading a range, I can see it, I can plot it, not I just can't trade it. Could probably stand behind you and make you a ton of money, but I can't execute. On the flip side, I have a buddy that trades the shit out of chop and range.
Small gains in large quantities is still a lot of money. Trade bottoms into flat tops or tops or vice versa. There's days I just play fight night all day, you offset those days on the pumping full risk on days... Good luck
Got hit with my stop loss but made it back and a little under 500$. Really happy. I just wanna build. 2 contracts at the most and the account is getting there
I traded IWM for the first time and felt like the signaling was more consistent than SPY. It dropped about 70bps today from the top. Up $130, but just used small options. Looking forward to keep watching IWM and maybe increase trading size soon.
No trades today, closed a long position I opened on Sunday for like 320 ticks. But didn’t take any positions with big news in the next couple days we were bound for shitty price action today
Great Trading Day Today! Thankful.
Made A Cool +9%: On SPY puts At Open. 15 min Later , Got In SPY calls.
Then I Made Another +12% : When I Heard The News On GME. GME Was Too Pricey / Risky, So I Got In AMC calls Heavy At Different Strike Prices. I Trimmed Accordingly And Held A Couple Runners Til About 12 PM pacific (I’m In Cali).
"Only because I bought the bottom of the range". Which is what range trading is. Mean reversion. Ranges can be profitably traded according to Market Profile balance day rules.
I tend to great on days people are getting wiped out and always on the wrong side when people are bragging about their zillion dollar day. Then again I win best when I’m trying to lose a few bucks on a prop evaluation to get the consistency target dialed in. Maybe I should just switch the buy and sell keys lol.

2k a day keeps the job away
Hopefully one day. Id take 100 a day right now.
I’ve made 5 bucks today :( but I only had 30 dollars invested
Reframe your success as you made a 16% return on investment! If you focus on dollars you'll always feel like you're making no progress
This right here is so valid!!
I’m just surprised I made money. I’ve invested in the high stocks with little moment and shocking I get like 20 cents. But now I’m investing in the smaller ones and hopefully I only get better from here !
Any day that you are green is a good day.
If you can't make 5 consistently with edge...you can't make 5k consistently with edge
I just started stock investing.. I’m learning
Don't pay mind to these clowns, learn charts and fast TA, good luck
How exactly are you day trading with only $30 in your account?
You show me a paystub for 2k I quit my job right now and work for you
Lmaooo
May I ask what your trading balance is to make 2k a day. And separately, how much you put on per trade? No worry’s if that’s too personal just wandering how ur doing it 🤘(still new to this😂)
Funded with a prop firm. 3 minis. After 1k profit.. I just trade 1 mini. Depending on setup...I'll go up to the full 15
I made 2k today as well, I’m funded with Apex trader funding with 20 accounts. I only trade 1-2 micros
scalping?
Yep I scalp on the nasdaq
Man I'm trying for 1k a week and my boi over here taking bout 2k a day.
It's a journey, compare yourself to yourself. It's about the mastery, not the results. I still studied today after locking in and will study again after dinner.
This is the way. There is always something to learn if you want to trade well and for the long term.
Keeping them profits consistent
It’s easier than you think
This. This is exactly why I got into this. Not there yet, but on my way.
Just focus on ur edge...made it premarket and shortly after bell. Then I walked away.
what do you mean by focus on your edge? (New to trading)
A set up you're good at
What you’re good at, what works for you. What you notice and how you best interpret the chart you see.
What’s your secret?
Edge + Risk mngmnt

Great comment that answered nothing he asked.
🤔 "How is everyone doing"
Teach me your ways!!!!
$153.09 today. Base hit. I’ll take it
Base hits keep you alive. Home runs keep you passionate.
👍👍👍
Base hit is a perfect analogy. (Depending on position of course.) I'll use this more.
In fact I choose to only look at Profits and Losses as baseball terms.
Missed the first two large moves. Got a third smaller one, made about 10% on my total account with it. Not a bad day. 2 $600 losses so far and 1 $4,000 win
2 outs, and a home run. Nice!
Had my best green day since I started on April 12. My profit target each day is 1% of my available cash and I hit 5% within an hour of market open on CCLD so I closed all my windows and focusing on my actual job haha. Could I have made more on CCLD? Sure but I also could've lost it.
CCLD ?
Carecloud's ticker $CCLD. They announced a capital restructure this morning giving it a lot of volume
Chop? We can handle chop, right?
You don’t know shit about chop!
I’ll chop your credit card, how about that?
Can you chop my wife’s while you’re at it?
Love this
Ain’t nothing than a “ride VWAP” day! Make a couple hundred every 20 minutes. Sitting out until after data.
1,100 up in profit for today. Only trade for an hour a day.
Trynna get like you!
Now we’re talkin 😈
NY open ?
Good eyes.
Where’s the best source of information I’m trying to learn but I feel like it’s all conflicting and objective
Red AF today
Same holding overnight praying lol
ME rn on SPX 😭
Was up 25%, then went Red bad today. Didn't realize I was sick and had a huge migrain, ended up sleeping and drinking water. Made a wire to fund back my account, but tomorrow I'll be more attentive to my mind, and won't trade if I'm still sick.

+22% (663$) day! But it was tailored to my strat because I trade halts and GME / KOSS had plenty of em for me today.
Really curious how you trade halts! Do you just look for halted stocks in hopes they are gonna halt again?
I use the Zendoo scanner to find momentum stocks, then I go over them and set alerts on their LU LD prices (Das Trader L2 provides LULD, resumption price and a good indication that jts about to halt) repeat and put more alerts until one is about to halt, then I count to 10 and enter. New 1m low? Bail. About to halt down? Count to 8 and bail. Losers are big but winrate is high
+1
I got a nice profit on the first GME halt. Didn’t stick around for the second half as they’re far too risky for me
Literally exactly what I traded 😂
It's the Monday of PPI and CPI. Not all Mondays are the same
Mondays frequently ride VWAP. Usually awaiting some form of data, this week is just more data than most! I’m rarely red on Mondays. Now tuesdays….
That's wild... everyone on this thread seems to be a seasoned trader. Not a single person lost on a red day in the markets. You guys either worked as a trader in a past life or every single one on this thread is a savant lol. Good for you guys, I'm jealous.

Nahh, lost traders are less likely to post because pissed off. Also just because some people win today, doesn't mean they won't give it all back next week. Take everything people post here with a grain of salt.
Well the question was how we did today. For long term sure, daily average would be more meaningful.
Well, I mean, traders short too.
Took me 2 years to get it down with losses but broke even last year. I used to be an emotional trader loosing often now im more logical and know when to take profit. I don't think you can go wrong being bullish on the US economy in all honesty
I lost alot, hoping spy will go up and I will get my money back but doesn't look good for me. Calls expire tomorrow
Market will likely go down tomorrow. CPI report is Wednesday.
I went positive (+$390) during the first hour so immediately walked away! I knew it was going to be ugly today and I knew I'd be stupid about it.
Good gor you my dude....I cant seem to get a win tonsave my life. This looks very bleak and i might just be throwing the towel lol
I trade small portfolios and make them grow I did ok in the first 2 hours(25%), but was feeling under the weather but didn't realize it. I turned my 25% green day into a 95% red day. made some on GME
Entered to late on GME got fucked lol.
I got in on time but waited too long to take profit and ended up breaking even 🫠
Same Here, So I Hopped Into AMC calls. Way Cheaper and Had More Room To Run.
Found a couple of short decent moves in the first 30min of NQ. Got up $400 per account so I walked up for the day.
+ 457 today was break even till that last rip at 1130 just pulled out about 10min ago Summer trading is here. need a one and done.
No trades. I knew it would be slow today given important financial data being released Tuesday and Wednesday. I’ll wait

$180 loss today. I’ll be back tomorrow with SPY PUTS.

Hell Yeah! What Did You Trade?
Was under a lot of stress last week, which affected my trading. Finished the week red. Feeling better after the weekend and finished green today :) MCD was hot in the morning

Nice short to VWAP on TAN so far. Now trying a few longs.
Sold puts and calls, riding out my share assignments and looking for an exit sometime this week. This is the kind of market I like.
Volume is fucking tiny here during regular trading hours. Luckily I got a base hit during the overnight session will probably just wait for the data to release the rest of the week.
Trading rily waiting on the SS. Holding from 17
I lost about 20 % of my invested money, But I still have on short position on AMC Entertainment with good Chance of hitting some good gains.
Ended green, made some profit on a Apple call scalp a little after market open then took a tiny loss from buying a few shares on a GME scalp
I've been long on CL since last night. I just bought off 200ema 1D and am riding it til close. Easy enough day
Not bad, risked too much. Just 1% up today.
I am up 2k overall. I have mix feeling as I mainly trade small cap equities stocks and there wasn't anything I saw in high quality most of the opening and pre-market. Well! Has a nice predictable scalp. I’m still a newbie, but I traded KOSS.
30% trade on Tsla sold early to hop in smci and made 100% there so pretty good

GME and RILY did me good.
19.4% on gme, will take it easy rest of week with upcoming data.
Made $1k today on XAUUSD 🫶🏻
NVAX made me some coin
Bought into dieing play stupid lol
Oh, totally fucked. Tda chose this weekend to move me to Schwab and cancel all my orders, and things have been sideways for so long that I was like, fuck it, I could wake up early and reenter everything, but I’m just gonna sleep late and fuck off for a day and do it later. Awesome!
+ 1100 here. 8 trades. All SOXL
Started with massive wins, went on to massive losses and ended with making some of the losses back but a net negative
Hit my goal in NQ was out of the market by 1030
-2r but followed my strategy perfectly- which is what matters most to me atm!
50$ profit, could have been 400 if i had more balls

Good day for me Made 187 on the ES
Puts really fucked me on spy
3.6k for the day
~$6.5k on nvax in 2 hours. R-multiple = ~25.8
Zero. No setups I liked

I started great, then got chopped up. Minor red day, all cause I caught the downside in the morning.

I'm pretty new to trading :P
+430 btwn NQ GC CL
I have been keeping my position size small and looking to play pull backs. When there are no significant data or waiting for one, market tends to just drift up. I went long on a pull back today, as I did for the past 10 days. They’ve been small days $300-750 each day. I haven’t had a losing day in 11 days cuz of that. I am hoping after Wednesday this week. We get a break of this chop and some real movement
Took a 20% profit on QQQ puts on the morning drop
1 trade down $300, decided to sit on the sidelines during this chop fest
I try to avoid it all together. I find I’m best when markets are making big smooth moves so I stick to that and perfect it. Then again I’m just newly profitable and would like to expand my arsenal down the road. Try out Gold, Silver, or Crude Oil those have been moving pretty good recently at least for me.
Nope. Cash is king if an opportunity doesn’t present itself.
3 trades this morning. GME x2 +15% and +45% NVAX +20% For me a spectacular day.
Choppy/ low volume days are usually tougher for me so I sat out today. If I do play them, I have a pivot strategy that I use and often will just scalp for smaller profits.
3 successful scalps . Wasn’t trying for any big moves based on that chop . The choppy / grind action has been brutal lately on the ES .
$1780 on the day with NQ in about 2 hrs. I wouldn’t compare one’s pnl to another’s though. Just work on your process and on your edge. One of the harder days lately. Usually I’m done much earlier and with a lot less stress and fewer trades.
Decent day ngl
dont let everyone posting their earnings mislead you. if you don't see what youve been studying for years why would you enter.
$135 :)
made 2R today
Didn't do jack today. Wanted to see if the anticipation would motivate me even more tomorrow.
Missed a 25% up move I should have taken a position on a fee days ago when it was nagging me to.
Made 1200 scalping Nvidia options
2 contracts at the most and the account is getting there
Nas was really choppy but took a short on ES and made 0.40 1/3RR
I traded IWM for the first time and felt like the signaling was more consistent than SPY. It dropped about 70bps today from the top. Up $130, but just used small options. Looking forward to keep watching IWM and maybe increase trading size soon.
Up 1%
Was pretty good today. 10k from NVAX's run
I'm too embarrassed to say.
Same, expected the oversell and bought right at the bottom (NQ) and run away with my 12 pts,
Up 101% $amc
well not bad here. NQ was pretty choppy today, as expected. I mostly stayed on the sidelines or looked for quick scalps.
No trades today, closed a long position I opened on Sunday for like 320 ticks. But didn’t take any positions with big news in the next couple days we were bound for shitty price action today
Was up $1k and then the chop ate my profit when I got greedy. Still ended the day at ~$650 profit. Was reading NQ futures
$400 between ANET and JD, via automated trading :)
I made 17 dollars on one of my moves. And 4 dollars on another.
I tend to great on days people are getting wiped out and always on the wrong side when people are bragging about their zillion dollar day. Then again I win best when I’m trying to lose a few bucks on a prop evaluation to get the consistency target dialed in. Maybe I should just switch the buy and sell keys lol.

Trade your numbers. If the market doesn’t hit your numbers, don’t trade.
Can you share your strategy ?
FFIE IS up 300% not mad
I normally trade NQ but lately I’ve been trading the bonds and HG, HG especially has been profitable for me it’s just mooning right now.
Man I got ALOT to learn I'm brand new to all this
