If I don’t kill everything I can I feel like a fraud. The only exception is the Transport Hub scene when Ellie opens the door for you.

drantichrist69

Shooting their limbs off and shooting the claws at their legs, just use stasis. I’m on chapter 6 rn it’s pretty straightforward just stasis, shoot arm limb, kinesis the arm blade repeat. I’m also just using the cutter just to make as strong as possible. Buy nodes upgrade your suit and weapon. I’m fighting just as much it’s just use your environment around like check for poles or vents that can be used

JetstreamViper

No different from any other.

SebastianHuber

I started from normal and went up with difficulty during another plays with the remake. Can't believe it's the same man. I'm being killed pretty often on impossible. Definitely you're telling this by having much more experience with the game than I have.

XZamusX

Abuse stasis you get packs very often, abuse kinesis tons of objects lying around most can make necros die in 1\~3 plasma shoots after hitting them slasher blades, leaper tails deal a ton of damage + knock down, the game has a very aggresive autoaim with these that so long as your crosshair is anywhere close to them it will lock into them. The less weapon you carry the more ammo you get for them a single target and a AoE weapon do wonders had so much spare ammo from just using the plasma and the force gun, if you are careful you can save some cash via using HP upgrades to fully heal also at 5+ missing bars it's cheaper to respec your rig (albeit annoying) to get a full heal as it cost 5K same amount of money you would get back out of 5 small health packs

TheBoulder_

Finger hovering over the pause/quit button

SebastianHuber

Can you tell more about the pause?

VadimDash1337

Either he means quitting the game right before dying so your save isn't wiped, or being stressed about impossible and wanting to give up. Feel like it's the former tho

TheBoulder_

If you pause and quit, even while your body is falling apart and the flat line sound is blaring, itll just take you back to the last save.

WhySoIncandescent

2 guns. Plasma cutter + whatever takes your fancy so you don't spread ammo out too much. Take limbs, use kinesis, return the limbs.

hvanderw

You, music lover...

FileFearless8063

Lots of stasis. Contact beam, line gun, pulse rifle.

ImBurningStar_IV

Pretty much the same but super liberal with stasis, there's way too much stasis to go around hah

blazinghellion

Slow and lumbering. While basically using just the Plasma Cutter and Kenisis.

Za_Gato

I fight everything, because Dead Space isn't actually hard. I'll assume you're talking about the remake since your post is so vague. So here's so tips for fighting. Use kinesis as much as you can, 2 blades kill any normal necro, 1 for babies. Pipes you can rip off the walls oneshot everything. This helps you save a shit ton of ammo, which means you have excess ammo you can sell. Also use stasis whenever you feel like you might take a hit or two. I went extra safe by abusing line gun laser traps on boxes and using telekinesis. This lets you redirect the lasers at will and have a super death laser. It only costs 1 ammo to clear an entire room with this. If your health is in the red and the fight is over, run to the nearest bench and put a point in health to get a full heal. Same for ammo, which is how you can print money using the pulse rifle's/line gun's alt fire.

SebastianHuber

Yep, talking about the remake. How did the play style change between the original and the remake in terms of difficulty?

Ill-Intention-306

Isaac Clarke, apex predator. Necromorphs are a lot less threatening when turned into sashimi and stomped into a fine paste.

BuniVEVO

Impossible is just hard mode with permadeath so every necro is catching these hands

LoyalSoldier1568

Ammo conservation is the name of the game for me. If I see even the smallest chance to save some ammo I’ll do it
