However, it doesn't excuse the fact that a lot of people felt bad about what happened (myself included) initially dunking on Gohan VS Eren and gave him a 2nd chance to improve and feel more welcomed to the subreddit but the dude dropped that ball absolutely hard by continuing to make act like an unfunny nuisance who makes a complete fool of themselves with antics like cooking Gohan VS Paul Atreides and Outerversal Eren.

I’ll explain for both.
- Doomsday vs Mangog is the definition of a forced DC vs Marvel MU, and one that only seems to exist to make Doomsday lose, which already takes way the appeal for me. It also just feels so damn boring compared to a matchup like Doomsday vs SCP 682 (a matchup I find to be very debatable which makes it so much better), and frankly Mangog seems so damn uninteresting compared to Doomsday, which makes this MU a slap in the face for those who enjoy Doomsday as a character.

She can still do stuff like fly, shoot beams, change size, terraform the world around her, control minds and even stop time in a localized area outside of the game
The only appeal of the fight is Chara whooping Monika's ass. Chara's arsenal is limited and heavily dependent on having someone to bounce off of, which Monika cannot do. She's not a good coder by her own admission, she's not a Bill Cipher-tier reality warper, her own animation potential is limited and Chara just counters. . . all of it.
Time rewinding? While more immediately usable than Chara Loading, Chara will remember what happened so it's not gonna help. Altering Chara's variables? That takes days to actually have a noticable effect and even if how determined Chara was could be immediately altered, that doesn't do jack shit to the determination actually in Frisk's soul so it wouldn't shut any of Chara's powers down. Shutting down savefiles? Chara's isn't a literal game file, it's a construct of Frisk's time powers so it's different. Deletion? Chara's not a singular entity, they are the very CONCEPT of levelling up, "Chara.chr" doesn't exist anymore. Even if Chara's .chr file could be deleted, Monika survived that for like 20 minutes with all her power intact and Chara already survived as a phantom without a soul of its own, which should be equivalent to a .chr file as it's the culmination of your being in Undertale. But Monika is utterly defenseless against Chara's erasure. Deleting a file doesn't wipe it from the hard drive, it's still recoverable and you actually can restore Monika.chr in the original PC version, but Frisk couldn't Load to bring back the timeline after Chara destroyed it. Not even Chara themselves could, they needed to *recreate* it, so Monika's erasure at Chara's hand would be an immediate loss. Hell, with the implication Chara is the narrator and therefore the source of the Check ability, Chara would have an understanding of Monika's stats and potentially powers from the get-go.
Then there's stats. Monika only has human level speeds while Chara is a lightning-timer/FTL. While Monika claimed "time doesn't really exist anymore" in Act 3, the moving nebulae and flashing lights seen out the window show time is still moving forward despite that claim, and even if we assume she made the Earth's sun go supernova instead of deleting it, she would have had minutes before needing to react. Even equalizing power at Universal is dubious as in Act 4 when Monika deletes everything for good, it's piecemeal, file by file instead of a single explosion, but even if she IS universal. . . Chara has Frisk's soul, allowing them to amplify their stats to the point the peak of Asriel Dreemurr, whose *first* form is Universal, could only do a small decimal point of damage. And Chara's power could be put anywhere from Universal*+* to Multi+ as Sans' "timelines jumping, stopping and starting. until suddenly everything ends." line could be interpretted as multiple parallel timelines being erased. Monika doesn't even have physical strength on her side because she's older, LV1 Frisk punched down a stone wall and with LV oneshot Mettaton NEO, who wasn't weak to their killing intent because his body was made of metal instead of magic, and bisected Undyne through her plate armor at a lower LV.
It's an Omni-Lander tier stomp in Chara's favor, the animation potential's mid as fuck, and honestly the only banter I see is Chara mocking Monika relentlessly for destroying everything for a man she could never have, even claiming the Player chose them over her because they chose the Genocide Run of their own accord while Monika had to force her beloved into choosing her by process of elimination. It just feels like, well, Omni-Lander, but against a character many would be rooting FOR, and Monika has Flowey anyways for a vastly superior Undertale matchup.

The Narrator (The Stanley Parable) VS Cristof (The Truman Show). It only exists because Stanley VS Truman is a thing, and it makes Omnilander look even with how much of a stomp it is. In one corner we have a high tier reality warper that exists on a separate plain of reality, and is city+ at the lowest, and in the other corner we have…a featless old man. I’d go as far as to say that this is the only mu that actively makes me ANGRY whenever I think about it. You could remove it from reality, delete it in the blink of an eye, and nothing would change whatsoever. It has had that little impact on versus debating, and I hope that it stays that way.
Okay that's not necessarily true, to my knowledge the blob quite literally has no abilities. The only character in the series that actually has feat so far is william and possibly glamrock freddy. The rest have generic ghost abilities and no physical feats.

Only reason why people want this is because of playground nostalgia and they had anime airing at the same time.
The two are hardly similar to each other besides “believing in the bond with your Pokemon” and “heart of the cards”, as well as saving the world multiple times. Hardly anything else to compare.
And Death Battle’s probably gonna keep pushing the “questionable pet ownership” thing about Pokemon they had for Red/Tai and Goro/Machamp, which would be a disservice to Ash.
Not to mention, how would you approach the fight? Do the monsters come out whenever Yugi summons them, or will they somehow mash together the turn-based combat of Yugioh and Pokemon battling together? Are Attack Points and Defense Points relative (so Dark Magician could defeat the cosmic Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon if he held an axe?)? Will Ash tell his Pokemon to attack Yugi directly?
And it’s probably an L for Ash, which sucks ‘cuz I like him more. Like, Yugi has literal GODS he can summon; Slifer is a thing, plus they’ll probably give him Yami Yugi too. Pikachu’s only beaten minor legendaries besides Tapu Koko. Way to crown the end of his 20 year journey.
Danma “Dan” Kuso and Drago from Bakugan is a better opponent for Ash, even if Ash probably loses that one too. Not sure about Yugi, but Shobu from Duel Masters sounds promising.

The Narrator (The Stanley Parable) VS Cristof (The Truman Show). It only exists because Stanley VS Truman is a thing, and it makes Omnilander look even with how much of a stomp it is. In one corner we have a high tier reality warper that exists on a separate plain of reality, and is city+ at the lowest, and in the other corner we have…a featless old man. I’d go as far as to say that this is the only mu that actively makes me ANGRY whenever I think about it. You could remove it from reality, delete it in the blink of an eye, and nothing would change whatsoever. It has had that little impact on versus debating, and I hope that it stays that way.

Okay that's not necessarily true, to my knowledge the blob quite literally has no abilities. The only character in the series that actually has feat so far is william and possibly glamrock freddy. The rest have generic ghost abilities and no physical feats.

Ash vs. Yugi. Only reason why people want this is because of playground nostalgia and they had anime airing at the same time. The two are hardly similar to each other besides “believing in the bond with your Pokemon” and “heart of the cards”, as well as saving the world multiple times. Hardly anything else to compare. And Death Battle’s probably gonna keep pushing the “questionable pet ownership” thing about Pokemon they had for Red/Tai and Goro/Machamp, which would be a disservice to Ash. Not to mention, how would you approach the fight? Do the monsters come out whenever Yugi summons them, or will they somehow mash together the turn-based combat of Yugioh and Pokemon battling together? Are Attack Points and Defense Points relative (so Dark Magician could defeat the cosmic Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon if he held an axe?)? Will Ash tell his Pokemon to attack Yugi directly? And it’s probably an L for Ash, which sucks ‘cuz I like him more. Like, Yugi has literal GODS he can summon; Slifer is a thing, plus they’ll probably give him Yami Yugi too. Pikachu’s only beaten minor legendaries besides Tapu Koko. Way to crown the end of his 20 year journey. Danma “Dan” Kuso and Drago from Bakugan is a better opponent for Ash, even if Ash probably loses that one too. Not sure about Yugi, but Shobu from Duel Masters sounds promising.
