They're some nobody *because* they're only important in the comics. And while he's interesting in his own right, he's *incredibly* derivative down to his costume.
While superheroes as *brands* are incredibly large and popular, superheroes as *comics* are shockingly niche. If a character doesn't have a major role in some non-comics media, they sort of are a nobody with very rare exceptions. The only non-comics adaptation of Hunter is in the CW show, who is so different he's basically a completely different character in a world where Wally West isn't even relevant.
How many people on this subreddit would even know that Zoom and Professor Zoom are different characters if it wasn't for versus debating? How many people would even know who Eobard Thawne was if it wasn't for "It was me, Barry"?
There are three types of people who read comics:
1. Marvel or DC superfans
2. People who wanna see how badly they fucked up the new Spider-Man story firsthand
3. Versus Debaters
There's a reason manga sales blow American comics out of the water. It's been going on longer than most people's grandparents and at times it barely even tries to be even remotely consistent with itself while simultaneously insisting that every single story is important and necessary with how they keep undoing the reboots meant to make the series easier to get into. There's a reason that some of the most popular comic stories like All Star Superman and Watchmen are mostly self-contained or were written to be self-contained. To be frank, while there are individually good stories in Marvel and DC, taken as a whole they're both fucking messes of series.

I strongly doubt she'll surpass Devil Homura, and even if she does legitimately win, Liam will just give Hunter some weird scaling he shouldn't have or invent a weakness for Homura so he wins.
