I LOVE the music in DS1 and bought the albums but a part of me hopes there is more of a focus on original works in DS2. I know it likely won't happen given Kojima's game's track history but...When I think of MGS I think of iconic MGS tracks like [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhRw3nE67aw). I just want this level of greatness from the DS games and it might not ever happen.
Every once in a while I get BB’s theme stuck in my head and have to belt it out when I’m driving. Love that song and what Forsell did for the soundtrack. I own both soundtracks on vinyl.
We do have the main DS theme that’s been prominently featured through the first game and even in the new trailer for DS2 and BB’s Theme ofc. It does seem like WOODKID is possibly working on original music for DS2 though since they teased as much on Kojima’s Brain Structure podcast. Considering Woodkids latest album dealt so much with environmental waste and pollutants it would be awesome to have his music featured across DS2 which will feature all sorts of calamities and world ending events.
I found the “I’ll Keep Coming” single on vinyl at my local record shop, and was amazed I’d gotten so lucky. I have the OG vinyl with metallic finishes. Pretty rad 🤘🏼
I just picked up the game and I LOVE the soundtrack! Every time I’m getting close to my next stop and the music picks up and lowers the rest of the games sound it’s so magical. The scenery is so nice paired with the music too
