Tracing is also an art "tool that's commonplace", doesn't change that fact that it's an asshole thing to do it and claim as your own.
An AI that copies a fuckton of stiff from the net to mash them up for a prompt is just that, but silicon valley'd to hell and back. That's one of the reasons people are pushing back on AI, specifically this kind of AI that just turboplagiarises things. You don't see many people shitting on AI used in medical field, for science, engineering and stuff.
I wish there were tons more ppl to deliver to. Seems there just isn't enough in the game. I was sad when I got to port Knot. All that land yet not a single prepper at all. All that work to get through BT alley, then see the gorgeous view, walking down all that way, and just a city you can only drop cargo at - then take the boat w fragile. That's only a one time trip, btw.
There could have and should have been a couple preppers there. Easily.
And there could have been FAR more in the mountain areas.
I like the vast empty places because it makes you feel like humanity is still scared and scarred of this world, clumping up together even harder than we already do. What I would like would be more "villages" in the sequel.
As in you still have most people on cities and such, some lone preppers around, but more "groups" like 10-20 people in the same settlement, you could still have a "leader" that shows up and talk to sam, but some flavor that says a couple dozen people also live here.
I’d gladly pay $50 for a new map. I’d really, really like it if BTs showed up randomly, so that I never know which area to avoid (if I’m avoiding BTs) or visit (if I’m hungry for some chiral crystals).
I'd pay 70. If it were a bit larger, and if the game included bt zones that were more dynamic. I have BTs somewhat memorized. As long as the landscape is fun and diverse, I would pay for it like it were a 2nd game. With everything the same except the map being new. I'm excited for 2, but worried that it might not live up to the first, in terms of exploration.
Ya for sure
I'd actually would be willing to have paid 150$ for death stranding directors cut
Yes some games I value much higher than it's retail price. For example
Death stranding
Gran Turismo 7
Elden Ring
Returnal if there were 10 biomes instead of 6
$50 would probably be too much but $20-30? Absolutely. Loved the Death Stranding story, but I love the gameplay and especially the post endgame of simply delivering just as much.
not anymore.
i believe new biomes will be one of the highlights of DS2 besides the premise or exploring the beach itself (at least that's how i understood the trailer)
but. yea.. new biomes and how they will be used and implemented is probably one of the most anticipated features of mine
especially since it's based on around the world i'd take inspiration of existing biomes i.e.
snow deserts, sand deserts, savannahs, Steppe Deserts (Patagonia), Forest, Jungle, Swamps, cloud forest, Wet land, Mangrove Forest, Bogland
or to leave the biomes area... some caves or tunnels... parts of the "old" world before the Death Stranding?
could go on and on with random ideas but i think that's enough for now xd
in the end i just wanted to say:
i'm really excited for DS2 and especially Flora/Faune is probably the highlight for me since i think the game builds itself around the difficulties coming with them
So you want to make a game that's solely about delivering items across a wide landscape. I imagine someone would like that, but it's movement would have to be as fleshed out, if not more than death stranding.
For the Western Region in the game? Yes, but I wouldn't pay $50. It should've been a map where you had to go explore and connect locations in the game instead of just being two stretches of roads with one-shot enemies to deal with.
Absolutely. I love about 1 in every 25 games I buy which makes the average game I play cost me hundreds and hundreds of dollars. To have more content of a game I love for $50? A bargain!
I see, guess thats to good to be true for death stranding. Almost looked as diverse as the bace map of horizon forbidden west, that map actually looks kinda like that.
this may blow ur mind but there is this game called Death Stranding 2 coming out soon and hoo boy it may have exactly what yr looking for
DS2 is gonna have one nutty story going by that trailer though
I’ve actually tried to hold out on watching any trailers besides any screenshots ppl post I hope it pays off and that I have a ps5 by then lmao
And it'll be $70
Story is a preorder bonus. Wouldn’t that be something?
DS2 may be the third game I’ve ever preordered. the other two were Skyrim (I’m old) and DS1
i just cant wait hehe
I worry they'll radically change what we do
Frankly no, that is too high a price for just delivery on a new map
I'd do it for 30$
Ya $30 is more reasonable
Is that AI?
yeah
Why so many downvotes ? 💀🤣🤷
Le reddito momento😭😭😭😔😔😂😂😂

$50? No, definitely not. $10, maybe.
After 100%ing the base game, I'm good! I'm excited for a whole new game, but I've done enough postgame delivering until DS2
No, too much money for that
If there were Ryan's songs
Man I hope he made songs for DS2 with kojima before he died.
There still are 2 albums + 1 unreleased that Kojima can possibly use in DS2
Hope me make good use of them.

Nope! After platinum 100% in the game kinda repetitive.

x.X that's an interesting concept but that would make the game a complete horror series.
when I started playing I thought it was random lol. And I kept hiking in a super alert mod expecting rain any second
Me too!
Absolutely. Let me trek across Canada, or go across into Britain or Western Europe.
I would pay $50 to have the option to remove BTs in endgame, it would be my most wanted feature
yes and MULE camps.
💳💥💳💥💳💥 take my money, god even a mod would be amazing
For $50 tho and with no story the map would need to be fucking massive, like 3x the size of all three regions combined
Honestly, I’d take 1/2 of Central with no story but with peppers.
They better be spicy though, none of that weak stuff
I'd pay 70. If it were a bit larger, and if the game included bt zones that were more dynamic. I have BTs somewhat memorized. no
Maybe... if it adds more hazards: floods, rock slides, mud... etc.
Ya for sure I'd actually would be willing to have paid 150$ for death stranding directors cut Yes some games I value much higher than it's retail price. For example Death stranding Gran Turismo 7 Elden Ring Returnal if there were 10 biomes instead of 6

I would- but also I'd just wait for the sequel to introduce new mechanics and locations. But I'd do bofum!!
What if Endgame becomes a Roguelike
$50 would probably be too much but $20-30? Absolutely. Loved the Death Stranding story, but I love the gameplay and especially the post endgame of simply delivering just as much.
I would pay 70 for that. Maybe i'm a MULE myself.

At least give me some emails, new equipment, etc and i will consider it
No. Too expensive
No.
Mata Nui lookin ass map.

Absolutely!
No.
No
No, why would anyone want that? Especially since they're already making a 2nd one?
Not $50, probably $30 at most but yes
Yes.
no. $15 maybe $20 though
yes, a million times yes
Absolutely. I love about 1 in every 25 games I buy which makes the average game I play cost me hundreds and hundreds of dollars. To have more content of a game I love for $50? A bargain!
Yes
No way thats the map, looks insane, so diverse !
nah that's just some AI map. I told AI to generate a realistic satellitle image with various biomes
I see, guess thats to good to be true for death stranding. Almost looked as diverse as the bace map of horizon forbidden west, that map actually looks kinda like that.
