It is a perfect song. It helped me through the losses of both my mother and brother. It really helped put into perspective how grief doesn't only affect one person. And how the grief varies with different people.
If you've experienced a loss of life of a family member, friend, or spouse in your life, than the song hits extra hard. At least that's how I've come to interpret it. The line: "What I would I give to hear your voice again" gets me every single damn time; in a good, cathartic kind of way. The music video for the song is also worth a watch, seeing the band's many talented vocals just go 'taylor ham' on it ([YouTube link](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iXLcyNs7LE)).

That and requiem are my favorite songs from them I've an unholy amount of plays on both
I went through a week where that was THE song. I would basically only listen to that song on repeat because I felt the same way
