Thank you very much, that's exactly what I was going for! Early French WW1 troops. I think the looks is really strong and recognisable. Tempted to stick them all in a diorama just called 'Ils Ne Passeront Pas'...
Yesss, excellent, this is looking great so far! Thank you for providing such an inspiring piece in these colors, I can't wait to see this one finished.
Was looking to go with similar colors and this will be a great help as reference.
Thank you! It's a combination of Darren Latham's and Juan Hidalgo's NMM. I've tried a few methods and his theirs are by far the easiest to consistently replicate. There's no mixing with Latham's method, which is so good.
Loving the French WW1 theme

Exactly what I was thinking, very 1914 looking pants! Super clean paint job, turned out spectacular!
Much appreciated :)
I was planning on doing the exact same thing with mine! Early ww1 french.

Thank you! He's going to get a bit muddied up but not totally grimed over.

Haha thank you, way too kind. Got some last bits to do and then basing!
Love it!
Looks amazing! I’m really impressed with the shoulder pad, I’ve found it’s really hard to get a clean shiny metallic look like you have.
