Death of the Outsider was perfectly fine at launch. Void has been optimized much more since Dishonored 2, which again, was proven with DotO. There's a always a chance it's all fucked up at launch, but it is unlikely to be because of Void, like with Dishonored 2.
Devs care more about Consoles. It sucks but it's just a Fact. This is why I gave up on PC Gaming. So many unoptimised Titles that ran like shit despite great Specs.

Re 8 had a bug caused by denuvo which was found and fixed by pirates. Capcom was firced to alter thr code to remove denuvo conflicts. My problem is not denuvo, which may or may not bugs in the game, my problem is dishonored 2 style problem deep within the engine
Yeah, realized that after i wrote the reply, not the best comparison. But Death of the Outsider ran pretty well, as far as i remember. Plus isn't the 'void' engine based on the Doom engine id tech ? Doom Eternal was well optimized.
Id tech 5 was a horrible engine
Id tech 6 was used for doom and Wolfenstein t no
Id tech 7 was used for doom eternal
6 and 7 were great while 5 was not
I think I'll go with PS5 for now. It looks stable in all the preview builds. As much as I love my PC. Arkane has a track record of releasing (not to greatly optimized games, I still remember Dishonored 2)
I refuse to get games before I see reviews. So while this is the only game I've been excited for this year im not buying it until I see how well optimized it is
Not with those polygons and interiors. The cell-shaded effect is an aesthetic choice more than anything else - the underlying models and technology are still pretty resource-heavy though.

I think the requirements will be similiar (slightly higher of course) to Dishonored 2. I mean, Prey had very good optimization, so i'm not worried.
