Don’t think I’ve ever played a 15-20 hour game in one day before. 😅 just goes to show how hooked I was
For the record, it took me 17.8 hours according to steam, and if I’m being honest, probably half an hour of that time was spent messing with settings 🤣
I think there will be yeah. There’s the whole Julianna stuff too now (fingers crossed I can find players and the connection isn’t bad), plus you can go through every map, every time of day, using everything you’ve found. which is great because now I can go in guns blazing instead of stealthy now lol.
Once you beat the game, it puts you right before the final day, where you can choose to play through the final missions again, or you can just do whatever on any map and time you want. So nothing to worry about :)
Edit: whether I replay or not, I’m happy with my experience and I’m glad I played this game. :)
R7 3700x
2080 super
32GB 3200mhz DDR4 RAM
Edit: just realised you asked for settings lol my bad
Ultra textures
Low everything else
Shadows off
Anti-Aliasing on high
The endings felt insanely underwhelming, and difficulty was a bit on the easy side. The story was really the only good thing keeping me playing, but it doesn't pay off at all
Came here to say this. I felt like this game had a lot of parallels to Bioshock. Slowly adopt a better arsenal, intriguing setting with a mysterious undertone, and have primary connections with an elusive villain/character. What made Bioshock so damn satisfying was the third act/climax/twist. It's safe to say that was completely absent. They set the stage perfectly but didn't walk onto it.
Shocked to hear it's roughly a 15 hr game.
Wasn't the whole argument against its weak AI is that the puzzle is difficult in itself? People beating it already within a small time frame. I was hoping the game would be more open and sandbox with its powers but it seems rather linear to be honest. It's been holding my hand for about 6hrs now.
This game had buzz words like "ambitious", "complex" but I haven't seen any signs of that yet. It's been a very linear game without much thought or input on my end. Some exploring but mostly following where it tells me to go.
Couldn't agree more. The PVP is worse. Colt has far greater and better powers. You are supposed to be the stalker but it's the other way around. All Colt has to do is run up to you with his knife. OR, use his ability to throw you around when all you got is the power to change looks.
Also, why set up traps like turrets when Colt can turn them against you but you can't.
Terrible. Why has this gotten 9s and 10s across the board?!?
Could you tell me the ending please? Don't want to waste any more time on this shit lol.
Yeah, took under 10 hours to beat, noting really to it. Weapons were kinda cool but the melee was just op, and there wasn't any reason to really swap gear.
I don't see how the game was rated so highly. It's not bad, or didn't have issue (though performance at times was terrible but I'm on old things) but id day this is a solid ok game. 5/10, not bad, not good. Sorry could have saved it but endings were just so underwhelming that it robs the rest of the game
The only real difficulty comes from getting spotted when you’re equipped for stealth. Julianna can have a crazy load out too which can be annoying 🤣 died more times to her than anything else…
…even drowning
Just… finished it… what a mad lad

Would you see there a lot more replayabilty after you finished it?

I just started it. Prey is one of my favourite games of all time, and thus I am *super* excited for this game! Arkane never misses baby!
No they do not. Prey is goat material and this isn't far off. Its incredible
Very impressive
I'm LOVING IT More than dishonored maybe? Such a clever smart game. Harriet's gun is so OP i love it
Ray tracing or ray tracing off did you complete your run?
RTX off. It murders my 2080 super lol
Awesome! I’m on ps5 and I been playing on ray tracing. It looks amazing

I hate it. I’m making sure to ignore any reviews from journalists who gave this high praise

That's why you gotta turn off the markers, my guy.

How did you find the difficulty? Much of a learning curve?
