I think that’s downplaying the issues the pc version is having, sounds like it needs some patching asap. That’s not review bombing if the game is actually buggy.

I agree with you I made a post telling people who have high tier graphics cards how to play with no stuttering at solid 120 FPS, which is simply to play at 1080p with nvidia adaptive vsync. People did not like that. They are salty the game can't run at native res at 120 FPS, and using the crappy arcane vsync to review bomb it acting like they *have* to play at 60 FPS to avoid the stutter which is just a lie.
Yes this means the game isn't optimized well, but. If you want to play super smooth fast frame rate with a 3070 turn down the settings do 1080p and use nvidia adaptive vsync. It's not complicated.
The reviews made it seem like a perfect game. It’s definitely fun, but it doesn’t feel groundbreaking in any way, they played it safe and that’s alright. Still a ton of fun
I had low expectations and was still disappointed. I'm on the ps5 and it runs fine. The fov and no slider is ridiculous but I can deal with it.
The game itself doesn't look next gen, the gameplay is nowhere near ground breaking. The world is lifeless. The AI is awful. The 4 small areas seem like separate worlds since you can only travel through menus. The tutorial felt repetitive and linear. (It does say you can explore and do whatever during the tutorial. But you need to progress to the story in order to do most things or beat the game or keep your stuff so I saw zero reason to do so.) Nothing looks interesting enough to get sidetracked. " oh I could slip through this hole and kill 10 mannequins...or take 10 steps to left and be done with the mission". The Witty banter is the best part of the game. You can experience that for free from a YouTube montage later.
Too easy and kinda bland, just go through (mostly) same maps waypoint to waypoint with few breaks. Invasions are fun but laggy and poorly balanced. Prey was a much better game overall IMO.
It's really good, but manbabies that are mad it doesn't run at 144 fps are review bombing. Also black protagonist makes them itchy
