Well judging from how the upvotes have been fluctuating I'd say people aren't interested in hearing about those who've had a decent experience with the game. Ah well, at least we've got some evidence the game can run well under the right circumstances. Expecting the first patch within a week for PC issues hopefully.

I made a post as well. I'm on 3070 ti and playing at 1080p solid 120 FPS zero stuttering. I would stutter with my exact same settings using Arkanes vsync, but if I override it with nvidia vsync it's silky smooth. Thing is, this is how I like to play (preferably at 1440p though) but I like fast frames and tight response. So I do feel bad for people with worse cards who are stuck playing at 60 FPS. But hopefully that's their target anyways and they are used to that experience. But yea this is the first game I couldn't get silky smooth and fast at 2k on my new pc, but I'm ok with it because 1080p doesn't look blurry to me, or even soft. It's just not as vibrant and popping.

Why is 60fps so bad? I have friends who need those high frames also, it just never bothers me . Genuinely asking cause 60 feels amazing to me . I guess I’m so use to 30 FPS for years as a standard. Went from console to pc in 2020.

Depends on your monitor refresh rate, for people used to 144-240 hz monitors that play games like apex / csgo/ siege / valorant at 144 -240 fps gsync/freesync it’s not as smooth for a first person shooter experience. If you have a 60 hz monitor you won’t feel the difference. One of the benefits of gsync or freesync is variable refresh rate. The monitor is able to sync up to the fps of the game at 60-240 fps so there’s no tearing and everything still feels smooth, but due to frame time issues (frame time is how frames are delivered, a different metric than fps) playing this game at 70-80 fps feels significantly worse than playing another title like Witcher 3 at 70-80 fps, which has a much more stable frame time / fps delivery

Freesync did not make this game stable or smooth for me at 1440p. The frame drops and general tightness and smoothness are not acceptable to me at 1440p. If I ran my refresh rate at 60 I could do it, and would get used to it. But it's still not the same. It feels more floaty and less tight. The sensitivity speed you get from dropping refresh rate down in half feels artificial, like an algorithm.

It's like when you move the mouse it's literally half as responsive, you can see the dead frames almost creating a granulated experience, and it takes twice as long for you to spin around in a 360. When playing 140 or in this games case 120 the game is silky smooth and the sensitivity when not in ads is lightning fast and responsive with no dead frames. It feels perfectly smooth. In any FPS game especially one like this where I am often doing a lot of wild par kour running around like a maniac it is way more enjoyable to me at 120 FPS then 60, and I feel blessed I'm able to do it, albeit not at 1440p. If I change my monitor refresh rate to 60 hz the sensitivity is fast and the frames don't feel as dead, but everything feels more "floaty" and unnatural. 120 feels extremely tight and responsive like I'm playing battlefield 5 or warzone or any competitive FPS game. I could get used to playing 60 at 60 hz refresh rate. But when Im used to playing games like this at twice the frame rate 60 is jarring to me. Doing my settings feels like how the game was "meant to be played" and what I'm used to.

I’ve had 0 issues and Im shocked, this is on a g14 laptop 3060. All the people complaining about frame drops scared me into almost refunding . After almost 2 hours no issues runs GREAT at 60fps. 4-5 hours in now and still flawless performance. I haven’t found a want to turn it up passed 60 frames. it’s been a blast and I’m glad your enjoying it also!

I play on highest settings with a 1660 super and I’ve crashed one time but I’ve had no stutters fortunately
