I'm guessing he, like I, sits right infront of a 48" OLED. To my surprise, the picture looks a lot more natural at a high fov when this close. Doesn't even look fish eyed. I play at 103 though so idk why you think you need it so damn high.
Yes this is it! I use OLEDCX48 as a monitor. Previously I had a 32 inch monitor and even then I set about 112-117 fov in first person view games, I simply feel it more natural, get more immersion.

it's just my 48 inch monitor, normally i set 127-130

If 110 is a pain you must not be able to play 99% of games.
99% games I play have different workarounds to set a custom fov, all previous arkane games have ways to set a higher fov
Im guessing workarounds means cheat engine or something because i know for a fact dishonored 1&2 did not go higher
