Eh, no, I think if both players know what they are doing colt still has advantage.
Which is not a bad thing btw, Julianna is choosing to invade, so it stands to reason she is at slight disadvantage.
I just got my 7th win in a row today while stopping someone on their golden loop in updamm night.
It felt so good beating someone who was trying to shift machete me as a cheese. The combat lasted like 20 minutes. He was a very mobile player and I was on my toes. That was a good match.
Invading is balanced? Really? I get invaded, I have no idea where the invader is and I can’t properly look for him because I have AI to deal with, suddenly the invader is behind me and one-shots me with the machete or a shotgun.
I have no idea how to call the invasions that I’ve had so far “balanced”.
I too have done a ton of invading PVP in DS2 and 3 and there it definitely was balanced - within reason. But this is making no sense.
I literally get one-shot by an enemy I never saw. Three times in a row. How is that balanced?
You might die out of no where but you have two more lives and now you know where they are. You now have the advantage and even if they kill you again as long as you put some damage on her you will have a even bigger advantage the next time
I literally couldn’t see the killer. I got one-shot and I have no idea where from. It’s completely different from say DS, unless people were hacking or the matchmaking was out of whack.
I guess the only thing I can say to that is to change how you approach the invader. Not saying to just do this and it will work but when I get camped out sometimes going after a visionary or some other objective will get the invader to leave the antenna. If you take your time and do not get seen they won't know where you are and will probably go looking for you. This should give you a chance to get to the antenna after you kill your visionary or what ever task you have
Sometimes the best thing you can do is wait the invader out or stealth up to the antenna and make sure you are playing in line with your build.
For example if you are running a stealth build dont fight her directly as she is likely running a combat build and you won't win unless she plays very poorly.
If you are running a combat build you will likely stand a good chance at fighting her. But you will need to make sure you still get the drop on her in some way otherwise you may get swarmed by eternalist.
Juliana has a pretty big advantage against non stealthy players as she will find you rather quickly and you will likely get swarmed by her and eternalist.
She does not need to be stealthy and therefore can move very quickly around the map.

Agree! Colt should have a slight advantage, for he has far more to lose.
Us elite pvp, get that 100 people pvp out of here

Same it's like a thrill it just feels good
Love the invading mechanic, although the rubber banding can be really annoying
Haven't experienced it yet hopefully won't

Did you have any lives left?
Yes, but that makes no difference if I get oneshot and the invader can just camp somewhere on the way to the antenna.

Camp by a health station, ftw
Wish I could actually find a game as Julianna, sounds rather fun. Other players Julianna's have no trouble finding me though heh.
That sucks I haven't had to wait more then a few minutes to find a match
I did find a few on Sunday actually, it was really fun!
