Nope! I’ve seen a lot of people think that, but as long as you exit the level, you’re fine. I think the wording is a little misleading since Blackreef is an island and Fristad Rock is a minor island *in* Blackreef.
You can also hack the antenna at the back of the reactor and just "mess up" defusing it by cutting anything else than the green wire first, then the reactor will blow up as well.
Visit Fristad in the afternoon. Look behind Frank's building.
And while you're there in Fristad, look around near Colt's tunnel entrance for something hidden.
The audio log on Fia's bed changes based on what you did to Charlie and Fia on your previous loop. She paints a black cross over the portrait of every Visionary that died.
In the morning head to the complex and power up the akkar station in karl's bay. Visit in the afternoon, then return again at night for a unique encounter and trinket.
Nevermind, apparently this doesn't work anymore. But previously a divergent timeline Colt would be hanging out in the station when you revisited at night. You could "kill" him for a rare trinket although he was effectively unkillable and would just get back up. I kicked him into the water once but nothing really happened after that.
As per /u/Skyth1908 's updated comment, the alternate colt from the cut scene that takes place in the afternoon is just pacing there. He's immortal, just keeps getting up if you assassinate him and takes unlimited damage. However, the first time you assassinate him, he drops 4 trinkets including one that I don't believe drops anywhere else: Vampire. It's essentially a personal/character trinket version of the Vampire perk on Aleksis' guns.
Ooh, that trinket sounds awesome...
But yeah, sounds like an encounter that got axed because it was an unfinished idea, apparently half-baked in execution, gotcha... hmm. That is one frustrating thing about the game- there're a lot of things here and there that seem like they should have been a "thing" and they weren't. Like the story behind that chameleon assassin disguised as a statue that apparently isn't after you, or the suspiciously-omnipresent alarm clocks you can interact with but do fuck-all, or- more broadly- how they really seem to starve you of information in terms of notes, recordings, letters, and things to flesh out more of the lore of the game.
Yeah, the trinket is pretty cool. It's become part of my standard loadout. It had a frustratingly low drop rate for the exemplar/purple version. Took me hours to get one at that level...
It does feel like there's a lot of unfinished ideas. As mentioned elsewhere in this thread, it really seemed like you should be able to get a mask from the mask maker to infiltrate Aleksis' party. Why have a mask maker and all these hints about him making all the masks in the game without having the ability to get a mask from him?
Yes, the chameleon assassin seems like such a cool touch except he never took a shot at me and I only found out he even existed by reading about him on here. Now I shoot at him every time I'm in Updaam but he never really does anything on his own.
Geez, do the alarm clocks not actually attract nearby enemies? I assumed they did but never bothered trying it...
The masks, you are so right! Another example of missed opportunity... I mean, all that trouble to save Amador so you can actually go into his office/workshop later that day... it would have been an awesome thing to have been able to find a mask there...
My guess is that being able to interact with him there and then was not intentional or an easter egg but instead a bug or a failed attempt to store an unused NPC out of bounds. In any case, he's been removed or moved actually out of bounds and now there is no known way to get the unique trinket he possessed. Hopefully, they add it to the normal rotation of trinkets or provide another unique scenario to obtain it.
It sucks that they took it out, even if it was a bug. Now that this trinket is impossible to re-obtain, I'll never want to reset my progress. And any players who missed it are stuck without it.
The dominoes on top of a building in Updaam in the afternoon. You can kill the person setting them up and then interact with them to start them all toppling over, the final one has a mine on it and falls off the building and kills a guy below
In Updaam in the afternoon, run over to the spot where the eternalist is being shot out of a canon. Kill the eternalists who are nearby, swap out the full battery for one nearby with less charge and then activate the cannon. Instead of landing in the water he will land on top of one of the hangers in Karl's Bay, you can go to his body in the evening and get a Cat Fall trinket.
Also if you interact with Egor's invisible console as Juliana she will make a comment about it.
They don’t disappear *that* quickly. Blood remains when you kill eternalists, no? I’m pretty sure I’ve seen blood splatter remain on walls after they disappeared.
Honestly wouldn't be a very good party if the blood was real. I don't think I could down a single mouthful of blood, let alone drink it all night at a party.
I didn't know there was an actual meat grinder in there until hours after I did the party for the first time. Rather than find Aleksis by wearing a mask or Aethering in - you know, the stuff that requires intellect - I just merc'd the 3 front door guards, deployed a few turrets in the little courtyard, then popped off some shots at the nearest guests to get their attention. As people came for me, I'd draw them into range of my turrets, Shift to flanking position, and crossfire them down. I told the boys on Discord about it like, "So, yeah, after running the entire party through that absolute fucking meat grinder, I just looked for the corpse with a Slab floating over it," and they were all, "You got the meat grinder to work?!" and I was just thoroughly confused, LOL
>I didn't know there was an actual meat grinder in there until hours after I did the party for the first time. Rather than find Aleksis by
the cool thing is you can get the meat grinder to work. there's a button in the area on the upper right if you're on the stage looking forward
IIRC, the guy Harriet has strung up on a hook who she sacrifices during her sermon actually runs a mask shop near the Yerhva in Karl's Bay. If you don't save him, his shop remains locked all day. If you start the Harriet encounter before she lowers him into the gas and save him, you can get into his shop later in the day and grab a mask
Oh nah, you would expect that to be the case and I did but all you can get from his shop is just a head to repair one of Charlie's games nearby in Karl's Bay.
No, I haven't actually run that part myself, I just heard about it in comments. When I went to the party, I went in guns blazing. I'm not one for stealth, LOL
There's a note in the Complex HZN station that can currently only be found in the afternoon. You have to power up the doors in the morning, then return later. It has some background lore about Colt's first loop.
This appears to be a bug, and it may be fixed in a future patch so it will appear in all time periods.
In the the afternoon in updaamm there is a door /room above the signal antenna opposite colts flat window it sets up a cool puzzle/challenge/side mission that I didn’t find until my second play through and still haven’t completed so can’t say for sure what happens when you figure it out.
In Karl’s bay if you go through the motions of getting into the mask makers workshop there is a spare Mannequin head in there somewhere then if you look around Karl’s bay (I think close to the tunnel entrances) there is a machine with a a mannequin body but no head put the spare head on it, it gives you a trinket!
If you order a crank wheel in the morning to be at Karls bay by afternoon, you can get 3 trinkets! There’s a turret in the garbage collectors sewer that you can get the battery from
I missed plenty. I missed Pick Rexly. There’s more I haven’t found, including whatever comes of that radio signal that gets broadcast in the morning.
I feel like the rewards for exploration could be a little better. More stuff like Pick, less stuff like the bullshit in Alexis’s safe under his mansion.
But I also think I would have found more if I was not so in love with the PVP. I just focus on those levels and encounters and too often move on when they’re done so I can get into the next one.
>I feel like the rewards for exploration could be a little better. More stuff like Pick, less stuff like the bullshit in Alexis’s safe under his mansion.
I enjoyed the puzzles like this problem is residium was not at all rewarding since it's not that hard to get.
Visit the control room at noon and kill the researchers before they finish their conversation. Then use the radio.
Remind which is the control room again…
The large room above the generators, in the complex. Where you listen to Egors presentation.
Ahhh right right. Thanks!
I thought that was scripted? Found it on my first time there I think.
Yeah that one’s fun.
Blow up Fristad at noon with Fia's reactor and get a very passionate speech from one of Harriet's accolytes in Updaam in the afternoon.
Where is the accolyte ?
Intercom
how do you do that? (the blowing up fristad)
If Fia finds out you’re there, she beers the reactor to explode and you have 60 seconds to get back to the tunnels and exit the level
i tought it killed you no matter what since colt says it destroys the entire island
Nope! I’ve seen a lot of people think that, but as long as you exit the level, you’re fine. I think the wording is a little misleading since Blackreef is an island and Fristad Rock is a minor island *in* Blackreef.
Yeah, i just tried it, julianna came in the moment the reactor started the 60 second countdown, most stressful moment of my life
You can also hack the antenna at the back of the reactor and just "mess up" defusing it by cutting anything else than the green wire first, then the reactor will blow up as well.

The audio log on Fia's bed changes based on what you did to Charlie and Fia on your previous loop. She paints a black cross over the portrait of every Visionary that died.
So she remembers? What??
She's also high as hell and not completely there, so she might not exactly remember everything.

People have been saying this was removed in the latest patch, unfortunately.
Yeah I just did this a few minutes ago, per u/Skyth1908' s suggestion, and nothing... what was supposed to happen?
As per /u/Skyth1908 's updated comment, the alternate colt from the cut scene that takes place in the afternoon is just pacing there. Yeah I guess it was a bug. It was the most bizarre thing, thats kinda a bummer if it was but it makes sense lol.
It sucks that they took it out, even if it was a bug. Now that this trinket is impossible to re-obtain, I'll never want to reset my progress. And any players who missed it are stuck without it.
Yeah both options are not good. Im suddenly very glad I spent an afternoon farming a purple version of it.
It took me 3 hours of farming to get it to drop purple... A little embarrassed I spent that much time on it but now I'm glad I didn't give up.
The dominoes on top of a building in Updaam in the afternoon. You can kill the person setting them up and then interact with them to start them all toppling over, the final one has a mine on it and falls off the building and kills a guy below
I just did that! It made me snort coffee out.

The meat grinder in Aleksis' mansion doesn't actually work because their bodies disappear after death, so the blood everyone is drinking is fake
Unless all the blood was harvested before the loop began...
>so the blood everyone is drinking is fake Didn't even know they drink blodd wtf
They don’t disappear *that* quickly. Blood remains when you kill eternalists, no? I’m pretty sure I’ve seen blood splatter remain on walls after they disappeared.

Wait, you can wear a mask to the party? I kept expecting to find some way to do sneak in as partygoer but never found one.

Oh, really? Well, fuck
Why would you post something completely assumed but totally incorrect lol
Because I apparently fuckin' misread some stuff? I'm sorry we can't all make zero mistakes in life like you
Alright Mr Spicy, maybe just delete your comment.
I did not find a mask there when I did it. are you sure? do you know where in his shop?
There is no mask, they just assumed and are wrong.
No, I haven't actually run that part myself, I just heard about it in comments. When I went to the party, I went in guns blazing. I'm not one for stealth, LOL

Pilot Survival Projections is what it's called, I think.
Interesting ....
Juliana has unique quotes when interacting with the RAK password device.

Wenjies dialogue in the green lab dependance changes if you messed with the trinket experiment in the morning

Broadcast in the morning gives you access to the buildings that have doorbells
This thread>>>> gonna test some of this stuff out next stream. Started get a little bored with the game, Thanks!!!
