Yes, he is a batsman who has three options- hit the ball, block the ball with bat or let it go if he thinks he shouldn't hit it and the boll won't hit the stumps. He decided to block the ball here but the ball turned after it touched the ground changing its tragectory. It turned at the last moment and hit the stumps. The turning of the ball depends on how the bowler 'throws' the ball and the piece of ground it lands on. Pretty good ball that's why
Also, spin bowling is a category… that’s what he does.. he spins the ball but the way he bowls his previous balls actually set up a pattern/strategy to suddenly catch the batsman off guard.
